I would leave less stars if I could. Not based on the current service, seeing as to how we didn't even get a chance to find out how that was before we were accosted by whom I can only assume is the new owner of the bar. For years, I have been welcomed into this bar, even with my disability and even when I got a service dog to assist me with my medical condition, we were allowed to enter with no issues other than being asked if it was my service dog. This time; however, we had barely made it to a table when I heard a man's voice say to me that I wasn't going to be able to stay there because my "pet" was not allowed. After offering to show him my dog's legitimate identification multiple times and being told no, that it would not matter unless my dog was there to help me drink a beer, I left. I did let the person know who was being so rude and ignorant about the law that what they were doing was illegal. I also let them know I would be leaving a bad review and calling and filing a complaint with the ADA. Not sure how all of that will progress, but I will follow through with my words. I would understand if my dog had done something bad to deserve being kicked out, but we had literally just gotten there and done nothing, even sit. Also, my dog is better trained than that and I don't know how the man was so blind as to ignore that. It used to be a great bar, but now I wouldn't know since we couldn't be given the chance to find out what it's like since it traded ownership. Apparently, it has lost some of it's pizazz. So sad considering what a staple it used to be...
Read moreif you're a bar person or someone that likes to bang balls around, this seems like a pretty good place. if you're a competitive pool player, this is not that great. probably the best place in town but I don't think there's any competition. no hourly fee to play. $1/game only. the tables are so close together that if you're shooting a rail shot, you need to sit on the next table. they do seem to take care of the tables but for diamonds, the pockets are huge. other issues I had was "21 and over only" and no door on the shitter stall. so if you're taking a dump, you're sitting there in full view of anyone else that comes in. lastly, I was here on a Monday night but I was the only one there playing pool for the two hours I was there. so I'm guessing there's not much of a pool scene outside of league. I didn't purchase any food or drinks so I can't...
Read moreHave a service dog, showed all paperwork to the owner, it's against the law to ask for paperwork but I offered to not create a problem, I was told that "he didn't want to serve someone that needed a service dog", which is also against the law. Very despicable, I have been going there for years, even with the service dog, every time I...
