First, the reason I drove 20 miles to go to BK instead of Sonic or Dairy Queen is because their food is actually better. However, that's all that's good about this fast food restaurant. They forgot part of my order and I did not notice it until I got home 20 minutes later. I tried calling their phone number that is listed on the receipt, and they don't answer. The voicemail box is full. So, since I live 20 miles away, I went by the next day when I was again in Alamosa and was informed that they don't correct orders from the previous day. I attempted to show the receipt and my call log showing 9 attempted calls to their phone number. Anna (the person identifying herself as the night shift manager) talked over me, argued with me, and repeatedly closed the drive-through window in my face while I was still talking.
An order is a contract and they did not perform their end of the bargain. All I asked for was the large root beer I ordered the day before, which is the lowest cost of materials item on their menu, and something I had paid for and not received.
The fact that they do not answer the phone, their voicemail box is full, and the attitude of their managers when there is a problem demonstrates why their drive through lane is empty while McDonald's is backed up around the block. The quality of food is secondary to customer service. And their employees seriously lack customer service skills.
Don't waste your time (Anna's words) or your money eating at this BK. Find a local restaurant and contribute to a small business that deserves your patronage. The franchise owners can't even be bothered to check their voicemail box, let alone train their employees. They will slam the window in your face, then threaten to call the cops on you for patiently waiting, instead of listening to a complaint and correcting a simple...

Then this family who was visiting from Oklahoma came in and ordered 5 of their breakfast platter. To be told they have to substitute their biscuits for something else. Everything that family asked to use as a substitute they declined to do. And negotiated French toast sticks though they wanted plain toast or something because they already had pancakes.
