Long story but very necessary. Upon entry an obviously disgruntled and distressed gentleman snatched his bag off the counter and exited the restaurant stating they are super slow and some other profane mutterings. I dismissed him with a hearty laugh. There are now 2 total customers inside including myself and my husband. The woman ahead of us was quickly attended to. She stepped aside to await her order completion. The manager (I presume) goes back into the kitchen space. He makes 3 sandwiches with only 1 gloved hand. The ungloved hand touched all 3 sandwiches and was used to do other food prep work. Gross. 7 minutes after taking the previous customers order he returns to the counter to assist me. I order a kids meal and an additional slider. No cheese. Another woman comes in. He helps her immediately. 2 5 pc fish with a crinkle and a curly fry. The manager goes about the business of assisting drive thru, making fries, and again to making sandwiches in the kitchen. I notice on the order screen that my order has been input with no bun instead of no cheese. I attempt to advise the manager but he is busy. 8 minutes later he returns and is eager to please. He says to customer 3 "we are waiting on crinkle" He assists the lady who came in last; and gets her out the door. I remark that I came in before her. "He says to me one moment please." He then asks "what did you order?" (My ticket is on the counter...but it is of no use because it was input incorrectly). I advise him of my order. He directs someone to make it. I'm watching my food prep like a hawk because bare hands on my food will require us to go back to start. 2 additional customers come in. My food is made successfully. The manager asks me what my drink was. (1st time asking). For both time and simplicity I say bottled water. He grabs my bag and water and heads to the fry station. Another order is on deck for fries. He gets customer 1's order. (Did you forget her?) He unwittingly drops my bag. He then steps on the bag. He takes back to the kitchen. The worker in the back says "do I have to make it again?" No sir. I've spent 30 minutes in the restaurant. With no food. I ask for a refund. The manager says "one moment please" he is back focusing on the drive thru. 5 minutes go by. My husband intercedes. He says give me my refund so we can go. We wait an additional 5 minutes before we get the refund. The manager slides me a "next one is on us" card. Hilarious. 30+ minutes for a kids meal I didn't get. I love Arby's so I am super disappointed to have to write a negative review. I usually go to the Arby's on C street. I guess I have been spoiled by them. They are both kind and efficient. Tsk Tsk Kari the manager...
Read moreRecently remodeled the entire building INSIDE and OUT. Great food, but honestly, the prices are a little too expensive. I mean they are charging almost $7.00 JUST for a sandwhich, which probably only cost them roughly $.75 cents to make. That $7 does not include fries or a drink. When it comes to any kind of “Value Menu” where you can get good tasting items at cheap prices such as McDonalds value menu where several items are only $1.00, Arby’s is lacking BIG TIME. The cheapest item might be $2.00. Other than their prices being just a little too much for a fast food joint, everything else is great. They are keeping up with technology, always have friendly faces and great customer service no matter WHICH location you go to.... it would just be nice if you were able to take your basic family of 4 out to dinner here for under $20, like you can at most places. I mean if everyone in your family if 4, ordered a jr. roast beef sandwhich and the SMALLEST French fries avail and a child size drink.... then you can make that $20 stretch. With the cost of living in Alaska to be one of the highest in the country, I wish they would introduce some kind of value menu under $2.00. Other than that, GREAT PLACE. if you are hungry and have a few bucks to spend, Arby’s...
Read moreI got my son 2 beef & cheddar sandwiches,a large curly fry and I got the half pound french dip and potato cakes and 2 large jamocha shakes. The roast beef was so dry it was like jerky, the curly fries were seriously overcooked. Several super hard fries and pieces that were inedible. They gave me less than half (of the small container they provide for aus jus) and by the time I got to the second half of my sandwich, it was gone! Half of my french dip with no aus jus! The potato cakes and milkshakes were great...since it's drive through only, AND I spent 20+ minutes getting through the line, then I called and no one answered, what was I to do? If they'd had access to the lobby, I'd have returned it....it was almost $30... I could have gotten great food at a great restaurant for the same money and they all do takeout or delivery and they answer their phones... customer service is important to them... I've been an Arby's customer for 30+ years over 3 states... I'm not wanting to go back anymore and that's just sad... 8/3/2020 ATTN: ARBYS personel who replied below asking I go to the address listed to give more information so that this problem can be made right... I tried several times to go to the address you gave and it's a site that can not...
