24 Sept Update: gave it another shot on our way out of town and it was excellent! Totally redeemed and very friendly. Turns out we got unlucky with a new trainee on our first visit but a few days showed vast improvements. It's got a great location too. This place is also known as the Mudd Hutt.

Helpful staff, prompt service, good location, and a large variety of drinks to choose from. Order your own combination of flavors in your drink, or choose from the menu. Either way, you will soon have a drink that the owners should, and probably are, proud to served. A small selection of tasty treats to snack on is also available. So good! So consistent! I could write a long winded report here. Of all the stops I’ve made, this place is simply the best coffee spot in Alaska so far. I’ve been in Alaska 10 years. The coffee roast and brew is stand alone. And still they have the perfect balance of sweet or cream or whatever you like. Awesome people in there serving up consistency. Can’t wait...
