The cons are minimal, limited parking and indoor seating but the pros far outweigh. The beer is really good, great styles represented. I think for Belgian style brews this is a great place. I tasted the Saison and Dubbel, both delicious. The saison is a little more clear than I'm use to. It's more common to show some haze but the aromas and flavor are great. The prices here are perfect and the best part for the true beer enthusiast is the glassware. These guys obviously take pride in their beer and respect the styles because I didn't see a single shaker pint in the place. The shiny fermentors are on display inside. No food in-house but there was a food truck outside. To be honest the food truck was in the way of the brewery itself, I would consider moving them a little so anyone looking for the brewery can see it otherwise it may be easy to miss. Great place you don't...

We’re back in town and looking to try out some of the newer microbreweries in Anchorage. Cynosure was recommended by a friend and we slipped away from some family gatherings to see what Cynosure had to offer. Right away we liked how open, airy, and comfortable the taproom looked. The staff were welcoming and super nice. No problems with getting samples of their product. Turns out they make some very tasty ales and Belgian style beers and Cynosure is now on our favorite...

Had a really fun experience checking this place out. The lady behind the counter was exceedingly friendly and knowledgeable. When I was there they had some KILLER lagers but the saison and the tripel were the best I've had locally. And that is saying a lot given their competition. Their beer and their tasting room provide backdrops for truly wonderful conversation. I will definitely be a...

Expertly crafted brews, warm environment, and generally not as crowded as other breweries in Anchorage. Cynosure is a great brewery if you’re into a variety of brew styles and is owned/operated by two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. It’s got great seating options (nothing outside, sadly) and a great ambiance for grabbing a beer sign friends. There are food trucks occasionally too!
