We came in for brunch this morning and it was reasonably busy. I noticed that our server, Brent, had a lot of tables to look after, but he did great!
A gentleman came in a few minutes after us and sat down in the booth behind us. He was there while Brent was dealing with another table and taking orders. Brent ran to the back to deliver the orders and by the time he got to the man behind us (no more than 5 minutes) the man was huffing and puffing about being made to wait so long. Of course the man asked to talk to the manager. Brent handled the man's rude nature with grace. A lesser server might have taken offense at the man's tone.
Brent went to go get the manager and returned to tell the man that the manager would be with him as soon as possible, and offered again to take his order. The man refused and insisted on waiting for the manager. So Brent continued waiting on his other tables.
He remade a coffee drink I had ordered that was a bit too sweet and he returned very promptly with the remade drink and a refill of water.
Another server came out to the man behind us and asked if he would like to order. The man said he had been kept waiting for 20 minutes and no one had served him. It been 20 minutes at this point, but someone had tried to serve him and he was just being hateful. The server apologized and took his order and made his meal on the house. But that apparently wasn't enough for this guy who then decided to bash Brent's work ethic to the manager, in spite of the fact that Brent had been running around to and entertaining his tables the whole time we were there.
I hope that the manager of this IHop recognizes that Brent is not at fault and that this customer was just bitter and wanting to throw a stink for some free food. No one else had any complaints and we only had good things to say.

Read moreWhoever the dude at the counter was very rude. When arriving, I am formed them that I was grubhub there to pick up an order. Immediately, Mr. GM, the dude who was at the counter started yelling, saying it was a scam, etc. When there is an order showing on my phone from grubhub. He had me wait for over 45 min. After going in and checking on the order for 3 times every 15 min. Then tell me that I have to wait for another 20 minutes. GM The man claims it's stands for the general manager for the building. This very incompetent GM is the male at the counter after going in. For the third and last time goes to tell me that he called doordash to cancel the order. Seriously! As I am on speakerphone with driver care for grubhub. This very competent man has made me feel threatened for just trying to do my job.. He can not tell the difference between doordash and grabhub. Proceed to yell at me in front of a bunch of customers. Then he says proudly that he is purposely doing it. I don't understand the reasoning. Why would anybody wanna go to eat at this place? With very, very bad customer service. I would never eat this location. Ever as long as this man is still working there. Who can not tell the difference between 2 different companies and is in the wrong? But still proceed to yell at me and try to say that I'm wrong. Specially since I had grubhub speakerphone and a whole bunch of customers around to. I'm not understanding why anyone would want to stuck around after seeing and hearing that because if I was a customer sitting there and I saw that happened, I would get up. Leave...
Read moreBeyond disgusting. We went there for my husband's birthday because he'd been craving it for some time and we hadn't the time to go until then. As soon as we walked in, there was an overwhelming smell of sweat and body odor. I tried my best to ignore it so that we could have a great family day but things just got worse as the day progressed.
We ordered and patiently waited for our food. Already, I was noticing a whole lot of vile nastiness going on. The cook had headphones on - I could see him from where we sat near the Windows on the side where the bathrooms were. We could see the waitresses on their phones too. We'd already been served our drinks and about 15min into our wait, no one bothered to stop and offer us refills.
The carpets were disgusting. The color had been washed over with a grime that I can't even describe and the smell of the overall place was beginning to make me gag. Still, we waited. The food wasn't any better. I couldn't bring myself to finish my food. My son ordered Mac n cheese and it was inedible. I felt horrible because my son was I'll that day and he was looking forward to having his meal. Instead, he just finished his drink.
My husband was able to finish all his food, surprisingly. However, hours after leaving, he was struck with food poisoning - vomiting intermittently throughout the afternoon.
I certainly DO NOT recommend this branch. It's entirely shameful and tarnished my impression of the chain. This was last year when this happened. Whether or not they've improved has yet...
