Latin taste — Restaurant in Alaska

Here’s my honest opinion: Its great to have a latin restaurant in Anchorage and i would definitely recommend people to go and try it themselves… but customer service its poor to me, the waiting time for food its pretty long but lets say because theyre still “new”…OF COURSE I LOVEEE THE MUSIC THEY Playy.. I love any spanish music yk salsa, bachata, merengue, reggaeton etc BUT the music its a little TOO loud (i felt at a club and i dont think thats the vibe, I couldn’t even have a decent conversation with my friend because of how loud the music was) .. its great to have something different in this city BUT i have come here 4 times already and I think the plates they serve everyday are the tastiest, the fast food options are not my favorite… but if youre trying to get some lunch or just some fresh fresh food I’ll definitely recommend going for the plates of food...

I ordered some of their chicken and pork ribs for lunch to go. The staff were very friendly and the place was clean. Everything I ordered was premade. They are slow on their actual service and getting food to customers despite being premade. The meat itself was super dry and didn't have much flavour at all. It was super disappointing and I had coworkers try it as well and everyone agreed that it was dry and flavourless. They charged me $25 for the plate and I just about went back in to demand a refund because $25 is a lot for a lunch plate and even more for a flavourless plate. The prices and food were terrible and I won't be returning. Again though, good atmosphere and friendly people just bad prices...

We came in at 12, the door was locked and the sign was off even though they opened 30 mins ago. They had NO food ready, they open at 11:30 but said the food we wanted wouldn’t be ready until maybe 2pm. I wanted a sprite, it’s listed as $2.50 on the menu they charged me $3.50 and said the menu was wrong. I asked if the coleslaw was ready and the lady kept asking me what I was talking about???? It’s not listed under a number so I had to keep saying coleslaw, ensalada coleslaw until she finally understood me just to say it wasn’t available either. Nobody came to take our order, we had to ask them to acknowledge us. Awful experience, awful customer...
