Stopped in earlier today at about 1pm. One lady in front of me with two kids meals. Two gents behind me & my partner An older employ (Josie/Jody) with some box braids was horrible. Not sure if she was stoned or what. But the younger employee was trying to make 5 sandwiches alone while directing Josie on how to fix whatever she messed up on the register. After 4 times of telling her how to fix the problem she had to take over. {It was a two kid meals} And told her to take care of veggies on the sandwiches. (Josie chick with braids)then continued to try MICROMANAGE the younger employee on the register order even though she obviously didnāt know what she was doing since she already spent 10 minutes on a two kid meal order š¤¦āāļø She then finially focused on asking me what veggies I wanted(spinach, olives, pickles) had to repeat olives 3x. Then she continued to almost drop my sandwich on the floor while trying to wrap it, then ripped the wrapping twice having to re-wrap it. Meanwhile younger employee had checked out lady with two kids meals, my partner (3sandwiches), and also got the two gentlemen behind us their sandwiches finished up. So all Josie accomplished was too put 3types of veggies on one sandwich and wrap it. š¤¦āāļøš¤¦āāļø We were there a total of 22 minutes

I paid for it and walked out the door, then realized Iād been charged $2.99. I immediately went back in and asked for a $1 refund. They said they couldnāt do that, that only the manager could authorize that and he wasnāt there. I asked them repeatedly to call the manager and one of them dialed his phone and told me he couldnāt reach him. I donāt know if he actually called the manager. They said Iād have to come back tomorrow. The staff were extremely rude, one young woman telling me āwhatās the big deal? Itās only a dollar.ā When I returned again to get a duplicate receiptāI hadnāt bothered with one the first timeāand again asked for some consideration, the cashier said heād have to ask me to leave the store, that I was āimpeding the line.ā The ālineā consisted of one person who was nowhere near checking out. Iām 82 years old and I donāt believe I presented any kind of physical threat to the staff. Nor do I believe I should have been treated without any courtesy. At least they turned the sign around so that the $2 side was facing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo disappointed. At 5:00pm I ordered an unsweetened ice tea. It was empty so I asked if they could make another batch. I was told that they only make tea once a day and it would not be possible to make some more. Now I have been there a few times and they just make some tea and life is good but this young lady was adamant that she was not going to make that tea. She even called her manager on the phone to explain this ridiculous policy. First of all I didnāt want to talk to a manager to explain why your so cheap you wonāt make a pot of tea. As a customer I just want to order my food and get out as fast as I can. My suggestion to Subway is if someone requests some tea at 5pm and you donāt close until 9, just make the tea already!!! Some of us are diabetic and canāt have all the sugar from the soda machine. Just be happy. Iām not calling Americans with disabilities act to complain to them. Next time Iāll just drive...
