We stopped by McDonald's after a long day of running errands. The first thing I noticed upon walking through the door was the overflowing garbage cans. The trash was falling out onto the floor. I overheard another customer mention that the garbage needed to be taken out, but they never did. We were sitting there for over 30 minutes after the staff was notified.
The floors in the lobby left little to be desired as well. There was food and garbage under some of the tables. The bathroom was out of hand soap and paper towels.
Now, I want to try and be fair to the employees working in this location today. I noticed that they were incredibly busy with several orders. It was around dinner time, so I can understand that they were rushing to push orders out as quickly as they could. I think the management should consider hiring additional employee's to help keep the lobby clean, bathroom stocked, and garbage removed prior to it overflowing onto the floor.
I did notice that a couple employees were in the midst of trying to clean up all of the food on the floor behind the counter around the food stations. Perhaps they were cleaning that area first before going out into the lobby. I could appreciate that as it should be sanitary in the food prep area.
Other than the issues I mentioned, it was not a total disappointment. The food was okay and cooked thoroughly. Someone brought it out to our table for us. The tea dispenser was empty, but the employee behind the counter was kind enough to fill my cup for me. The employee's that I had spoken to were kind and respectful.
This is why I am giving the location 3 stars. I was conflicted on my rating, but I wanted to be fair even while addressing some issues. The overall food quality and customer service was deserving of some recognition. The cleanliness was poor, so I...

Read moreOrdered through drive through, checked into curbside pick up spot in app. 15 minutes later app notified me to enjoy my food and that it had been delivered even though it had not. Waited another 10 minutes to see if someone had just clicked the complete button on their way out to. Called the store, was told it was super busy and someone would be told and bring my order out. Another 10 minutes goes; drive thru is open but inside pickup is closed with front doors locked. I drive through drive thru and get told I just missed someone walking out to my car. I ask what should I do and was told to pull back to the same pick up spot. I drive back and wait another 5 minutes to have only part of my food brought out. Drive back through drive thru for my last 3 items, the ones I was mainly there for. I get to the window finally to be told it was my fault because I ordered through the app. No apologies and being gaslight brought me here. Ive been a McDs customer for years but today trained me and my son to never come back. Ba ba da ba, its not worth it. If you absolutely NEED McDs drive a little further into Albany to the other location, at least better...
