I ended up finding this place by "accident" as this morning I just wanted a sandwich from Starbucks and twice over I got a cold sandwich. I Googled "Cinnamon roll" and this was one of the first nearby result that popped up. I read some reviews and realized it seemed more of a sweets shop, but went anyway because I figured they may still have a breakfast option. When I arrived, I was charmed by the bright, colorful interior and was immediately drawn to the case of beautiful cupcakes and brownies and other treats. The man behind the counter was extremely nice when I asked about Cinnamon rolls and stated they sometimes make them for a limited time during the year but do not have them at this time in February. I asked what would be good for breakfast, and he pointed me toward some beautiful looking croissants and said they had just come out of the oven. He talked to me for a few minutes, not seeming to be in a rush considering i was the only customer, which is top tier customer service imo. The croissant- This thing was $4. I should have taken a photo because it was beautiful. It smelled amazing. It tasted like heaven from the first bite, and I don't even know what was in it. I could see how maybe people sleep on it because it is a green color, but I think it has spinach in it. It almost tasted like it had cheese in it too, but very subtle. The croissant was glakey and buttery and perfect. Definitely worth a try, I love sweets and treats as well as breakfast foods so next time I'm in the mood for a cupcake, I'm coming here. Support your local businesses!! I paid almost $2 more for my sandwich from Starbucks which ended up being cold and customer service ended up being short and unapologetic. I wish I had...
Read moreI bought two German Chocolate cupcakes to try... The cupcake was moist, the chocolate frosting was like a slightly whipped version of something from a Safeway cake, and the coconut frosting was dry, lacked flavor and definately sans coconut or vanilla flavor despite the bits of coconut. The chocolate cake was very dark but a bit bitter. None of it was very delicious or decadent. Seems like an easy one to nail... Devil's food cake and frosting was easily 4plus stars in comparison... Definately not worth $5/pc. They put effort into the paper wrapper so it looks nice... More of a $1-2 cupcake at a fundraiser quality. Service was bleh, they asked what I wanted, picked up the cupcakes, boxed them, asked if I wanted anything else. So it wasn't bad, just extra silent. I was given plenty of time to decide before I was served, very very low pressure. I'm a big, dark, and kinda scarey looking bearded guy, so I get the lack of any service much, less cheerful service. Oh and I switched up to eat it with a fork, incase the cupcake needed more organization to experiences the flavors vs. very a wide open bite to get all 3 flavors together......
Read moreI am beyond frustrated with Natural Sprinkles. I called because I was told they do great vegan birthday cakes. When I spoke to them, I specifically asked for a cake, and was told they donât do cakes but could make cupcakes that âlook like a cake.â FineâI asked if they could make them vegan, and was told yes, no problem. She even asked if I wanted it to say âHappy 25th Birthday [my daughterâs name],â which I confirmed.
When I showed up to pick up my order, I was handed 12 plain cupcakesâno message, no decorations, nothing special at allâfor a whopping $64. On the phone, I was quoted $39. I was shocked. These cupcakes looked like something I could have picked up at any grocery store, absolutely not worth the price.
When I questioned it, the woman I spoke with was unbelievably rude and dismissive, rambling about âfarm to tableâ as if that excused the fact that I didnât get what I ordered. This was for my daughterâs birthday, and they completely dropped the ball.
If you donât want to waste your time and money, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. Absolutely...
