Roll and Bowl — Restaurant in Albemarle

UPDATE: We sit down here at least once a week and usually get takeout once a week as well. Can’t say enough about the quality of the sushi. The fish is amazing, the display is beautiful and the taste can’t be beat. Chefs creation never disappoints as it is always different but so good every-time, we’ve never had one we didn’t love. We have tried sushi from tons of places all over the East coast and this tops the list. We tell everyone we know when sushi comes up to try Roll and Bowl and we’ve even had friends drive over an hr from SC to try it and they said it was absolutely as good as we’ve talked it up to be and worth the drive. This is definitely a hidden gem in Albemarle and I hope they stay around for a long time.

We looked forward to this place opening, and since have eaten there, picked up take-out, and sent others to pick up dinner from here. Love the sushi and grateful it’s so close. Salmon sushi and rolls all the way... The fruit bowls are yummy and price is excellent. I wish they had a savory bowl option with cooked veggies, fish, and rice or such. I’ve tried every smoothie and loved it - can’t go wrong.

Only downside, it is hard to call in orders - clearly conveying information or get helpful suggestions for picky eaters I was trying to feed at the time too - Girls at the counter are not overly helpful, at least, don’t seem to be interested in allowing helping the customer to inter to long with their time talking... I have definitely ended up with take-out orders that were not what I expected with an item or two.

an extremely unprofessional buisness!! I came in and delilah immediately pawned me off to another worker to go gossip in the corner about a coworker who i just so happen to be related to. delilah said she "had no reason to call out" and "preplanned a family emergency" when that was absolutely not the case. said employee was then FIRED for the situation and wasn't given another real reason or even a write up. delilah also loves to nitpick employees but can't even do her own job right. every time i've ever gotten a roll made by her, it's been made wrong after specifying multiple times. roll and bowl and specifically delilah have really created a new level of...
