Penny Pizza & Sub — Restaurant in Albemarle

To this day, this is still my number 1 spot for a delicious cheesesteak. These are so good that I compare other cheesesteaks to this and none have yet to surpass Penny's. I'm always picking them up when I'm visting my parents, but forget to take pictures because you have to devour them quickly before the bread gets soggy from the flavorful juices from the grilled meats, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, and their special sauce.

Their fries are also bomb. They have a perfect crumbly crispy outside with soft fluffy potato on the inside and of course seasoned perfectly.

Their fried rice and plain chicken wings are also very delicious. You're missing out if you haven't...

My husband brought me here for the first time today and it was amazing! I love that they had a variety of things to choose from, ranging from subs to pizza to burger & fries to wings and even pasta and salads. So definitely something for everybody, I personally loved their mozzarella sticks they were amazing! And the tomato sauce to dip them in was just as amazing! I will most definitely be coming back specially for more of those mozzarella sticks!...

Penny Pizza & Sub was a little tricky to find. Google maps helped out with finding this wonderful restaurant. I was looking for a pizza spot.
