Hungry Howie's Pizza — Restaurant in Albion

Terrible customer service. We normally order from here with no issue, the last experience put me off from this location for good. We ordered a large pizza and when it all the cheese was on one side of the pizza and most was just sauce and bare crust. Not a big deal, as things happen and in sure the driver didn't have the pie balanced on the seat of the car. So I called to ask for a replacement, the lady who answered the phone was very polite but when she asked for a manager/someone to help I could hear someone cursing loudly and clearly about the situation. The manager clearly couldn't be bothered, we sat on the phone with her waiting for about 10 minutes until we decided to drive the pizza back ourselves and ask for a refund. When I got to the store I asked the lady at the counter if they were busy and she said they were not. I waited another 10 minutes at the counter until the manager came from the back asked the lady what she needed, voided the order and said "it'll be on your card in a few days." All without ever looking at me. I get that running a pizza shop can be frustrating at times, I did it at a Jets Pizza for a few years so I can empathize. But I was never rude during this entire experience and I would have been ashamed to treat a customer that way...

This is what you get for $24. And change from Hungry Howies in Albion, MI. The pizza prep/ making is fine, th e delivery driver might need to think about delivering the pizzas that get dropped. I suggest for customers to use Pizza Hut... Dominos.... Little Caesars... anyone other than Howies. Great way to represent Hungry Howies, I'll definitely take my experience back to KY... only because the manager acted offended when the condition of the pizza was called in. By th e way, just because of the professionalism of this manager....I'll be cross posting this review to include location...

So the pizza is pretty good, but my problem is with how they pride themselves on being able to give you whatever kind of crust you want but can't do something as simple as adding tomato to a chicken bacon ranch sub because they said it's a corporate decision that they're not allowed to do so. At least that's the story that we got from the Albion MI. Hungry Howie's. We wanted the tomatoes cooked into the sub with the rest of the ingredients but we had to get them cold on the side, so I can't say that I was completely satisfied. Definitely knocked couple...
