Over $7 for a dirty chai in a house cup made with oat milk that smelled and tasted awful. I would give it another try with something other than oat milk but not at that price point! I am willing to pay a bit more to support local businesses and quality ingredients but the cost of a lunch for one regular size espresso drink is really pushing it.
They were completely out of pastries when I arrived at about 7:30am. When I asked for a sweet drink made with an interesting syrup all they offered was Vanilla (made in house, but still, just vanilla? Are you too much of a coffee snob place to even try catering to plebians who like Frappuccinos?) During the slow period you couldn't tell the difference between employees and customers because they were wearing normal clothes and just milling around and chatting. I managed to find a couch but 90% of the furniture was hard stools with no back support. The opposite of cozy.
All I wanted was a sweet tasty coffee drink and a bite to eat on a Sunday morning. Paid $7 including tip and got neither.
I am going back down the hill to Napoli Coffee for reasonable prices, 20 billion syrup options, good food, comfy seating, and no snobbery.
Edit: None of the reviews of Oat Milk I could find online describe it as tasting and smelling as nasty as mine did this morning, so I think it may have...

There’s a huge but cozy patio that’s available most of the year (weather permitting).
Easy to locate - parking lot is occasionally full and awkward to navigate, but there’s plenty of parking on the street nearby with quick access to the front door.
There’s always a friendly canine or two to say hello! Your pup friend is allowed inside and can stick by you while you bury yourself in work, homework, or conversations.
Coffee tastes amazing - smooth and rich. They do brewed, pour over, espresso, lattes, americanos, and a few specialities. They have non-coffee choices as well -chai latte for sure, as well as teas and a couple other options.
Usually have donuts and pastries available, but do run out later in the day because they so good!! They have GF options as well that are delicious!
They also have breakfast burritos which are great to grab on your way to work or for Saturday brunch with a friend. Or on your own. They don’t ask about your social life.
They also sell merch - all great quality and supports local business! You’ll look so hip and cool sporting Little...
Read moreWe checked out Little Bear Coffee because we are in search of a good study/remote work space. In terms of design and convenience, Little Bear coffee fits our needs perfectly! It is gorgeous inside and has plenty of seating/tables. The service was friendly and fast. The only thing I didn’t like about the atmosphere was that the music was very loud. Since I’m looking for somewhere to study I wish the music was just a bit quieter, since I could still hear it with earbuds on and I couldn’t really hear my study partner over the music. Outside was quieter but this would not be an option in the cold or very hot weather. The other issue I had was the drink I ordered was way too milky. I got a matcha latte and it tasted like milk more than matcha. We also got burritos that were good at first but I ended up not liking the squishy texture and had to force myself to finish it (maybe that’s just a me thing) I think more potatoes or something to add texture would help. Overall I would go back and customize my drink order to have less milk if possible or try other drinks. I would probably just eat before I go there or get a pastry instead of the burrito. I really like the atmosphere! It was very cozy and also put me in a...
