I worked at Dion’s when I was younger. And I got to say
There is something magical sometimes about this company, last night my gf and I went to go get our pizza. We both work long hours her in school and myself always on the move with my work. We don’t always get time with our dogs so we took them on a little pizza run.
Now don’t judge me for this next part but our dogs love Dion’s. They get little bits of sausage or pepperoni our their favorite, pizza crusts. Yes we know this is not the best for them (but you look at your child’s cute little face and tell them no next time you have them look you in the eyes asking for a little pepperoni piece I dare you don’t judge is, fight me). They deserve to experience their New Mexican culture just like your little ninos. Dions is apart of our culture here, and seeing the way the staff is embodying interpersonal skills and just enjoying their work (as best as or better then anyone can enjoy work) is magical. Everyone from New Mexico either has worked at this company or knows 10 people who have. The staff working last night at the drive though (8:15pm on November 19th) are by far the embodiment of Dion’s culture. They got so excited seeing our three dogs discover where their favorite pizza comes from.
Idk who was more excited the four legged friends we brought or the team. We talked about the girls golden retriever. (Buster I think) I’m horrible with names. They gave us little pepperonis to give to our family. (Sorry the corgi tried taking them out of your hands he doesn’t bite he is just a fat kid at heart) and the thing was they were so quick and so nice and welcoming.
The staff brought back something Covid took from business. A genuine connection, one that is apart of not just New Mexican culture but theirs. Dions trains and fosters people into leaders and thinkers. They are a phenomenon in this state. And the staff there were truly phenomenal to us. They may have brought that from their own family’s And upbringings. However, to see people smiling at work and the joy that these staff members had even while stress is there, Is amazing. (If I could put dogs to work and have them learn to toss pizza or engage like your team has sign me up, a little chihuahua, corgi, and lab mix all in the back playing with little red aprons) Love you Dion’s. Loved that interaction and will always love going to get a meal from you all.
To the staff last night
Sincerely, Thank you From our...
Read moreGreat food at a great price. Excellent staff, I can call in, order online or use your app. All three work great. My problem is your pickup process. First off I get a pop quiz about the order. Many times I don’t personally place the order, I am just the one picking it up. So after the quiz your staff runs around to several different locations to return to me to ask more questions because they can not find it. I then show them my online order email confirmation and then they go look again. Most of the time they are able to find it but it is not ready yet. Your online ordering system automatically sets a 30 minute time frame if I get a pizza so I try and give extra time before I get there so I don’t have to wait but it never works out. Your system/process really needs some work. I cannot think of a singe place that gives me a pop quiz about my order. Just a name or phone number. Your staff is always great and does a great job with the tools they have but the process is so inefficient that all your staff does is waste time looking for orders. Also if you send a person out to the drive thru to help the line move faster maybe give them a headset so they are more effective. Running around is such a waste of manpower. As a business owner myself I can’t imagine how much of a revenue increase you would have if you were to correct...

Last night was a poor experience. I placed the order online and came to the drive-through half an hour later, they said they weren’t ready and asked me to park in the parking lot, after 20 minutes, I called the store and asked them what was taking so long. They inform me that they were getting the order ready and it would be soon.
10 10 minutes later, they came out and explained that they don’t know what happened, but they never made my order they would make it right away. The gentleman was very polite. However, however, it’s absurd that I have to ask for my food three times prior to them even starting to make it all in all took about an hour and 20 minutes to get a pizza and a salad.
The pizza was very poorly made too much cheese too much sauce. It tasted like cheese, gum with barbecue sauce. I actually ended up going to McDonald’s instead of eating this trash pizza. I think I’ll just stick to the other locations as Dion’s usually consistent. I’m just getting fed up going to...
