Dunkin' — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I've been going to this DD for years. 15 at least. I was going to this store when it was located on the other side of Wyoming. NEVER have had a complaint. Known some of the older employees for many years (none of whom were working today). Always great service. Always great donuts. However, TODAY WAS UNBELIEVEABLE. Incredibly bad service (and it wasn't even busy). The donuts tasted terrible. The employee behind the counter got my order wrong -- I ordered three donuts, and I got four -- and I was changed for four. I couldn't get through my second donut. The donuts I got were that bad. Of course, I'll go back. But only when the old-time employees are working. (Did I mention that the young man who waited on me looked like he needed a bath, and he scratched his nose? Oh yuk.) //// Later: tried to file a formal complaint with Dunkin' Donuts. Found out that (1) DD is owned by some ice cream outfit; and (2) this particular DD on Wyoming is "independently owned", so headquarters couldn't have cared less, and they transferred me to owner. I received a "canned" email from the owner -- who couldn't have cared less. I was 'transferred' via phone THREE TIMES -- and no one cared. Well, I won't be going back to DD. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Always friendly and kind. Learned my name and usual order very quickly. Unfortunately, I'm only in town for a short time and won't be able to continue being a "regular", but I've always had a great experience with this store and wanted to give credit where it's due. Just today, I go in to get a two coffees and an apple fritter, and because the party at the register was taking a little longer to order, the friendly lady gave me the coffees and fritter and just said you can pay for it next time. She's known me all of a week. Anyway, I'll miss going here when I leave town, but you should stop by if you live here, or are just passing through on I-40. If pressed for a downside, I'd say that for some reason they don't seem to carry corn muffins, or at least they haven't had one the dozen or so times I've been there.

Apparently they can’t make a frozen coffee without creamer or milk. It’s 3 ingredients: coffee, ice, and (vanilla) syrup.

I got weird looks when I asked without creamer/milk. I’m lactose, so I always get coffee without creamer/milk. I flat out told them I don’t feel like s(h)itting on a toilet all weekend.

I told them it’s the same as getting a black coffee. I told them if they can’t make it, even though other places, including other Dunkin’ Donuts have made it for me, I’m ok if they made me something else.

They “made” it for me. But it was just (vanilla) syrup and ice. So according to what they “made” me, there is ZERO coffee in the frozen coffee. I only go there when I have free drinks from the app. But now I don’t even want to go when I have drinks through the app.
