KJ's Cafe — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I have tried this restaurant once before when they were at Plaza del sole the food wasn’t that good. When I heard we were getting this restaurant, I was hoping it was better than the first time I tried it. I gave them two chances to impress me during their soft opening. I got the breakfast burrito with bacon and green chile. The chile was just okay, the bacon wasn’t that good, and the burrito was too big. I didn’t even finish it. The next day, I tried the huevos rancheros with corn tortillas, eggs over medium, and red chile. This was not good at all. The corn tortillas were not good, the potatoes were not that good, and the red chile wasn’t good either. Everything was in a small togo box. If you want great huevos rancheros downtown, try Cafe Lush. They impressed me the first time I tried them, and I have gotten them for coworkers, and they loved them. Since the breakfast wasn’t good, I didn’t even want to try their lunch. I saw some people coming back with Frito pies, and they didn’t look very good. VERY VERY BAD. STAY AWAY. THE CASHIER IS SLOW. I ASKED A SIMPLE QUESTION AND HE ACTED LIKE IT WAS HIS FIRST DAY WORKING THERE,,THE FOOD WAS OK I GOT A CHEESEBURGER WITH 3 DAY OLD LETTUCE, , I WENT UP TO BUY ANOTHER COKE, AND HE SAW ME STANDING THERE WITH CASH IN HAND AND HE JUST CONTINUED TO TALK TO THE COOK. I just had the pleasure of eating at this cafe. As someone who believes in supporting local business, I must say this cafe was an excellent choice! We had a green chile burger and green chile turkey sandwich. Both were very good! After reading previous reviews, I think if your looking for fast food then go to mcdonalds. But if you want something homemade, it's going to take some time which means the food is worth it.
