Downtown Distillery — Restaurant in Albuquerque

Not worth it. Clearly inexperienced bar tender (white girl w long straight brown hair) I had about 3 sips of a dri k from anodyne before walking across the street w some friends and the bar tender refused to serve me, saying I was drunk (I've served alcohol for 6 years and was very obviously not even slightly intoxicated) but continued to serve the clearly other drunk people around me. Ive never had this happen before anywhere, even when i actually was drunk lol. Even her co worker wanted to serve me (she told me so) and knew i was sober but couldn't because the other girl had already falsely accused me lol. And if i was too drunk to be served, they also shouldn't have watched me leave w my keys in my hands. Lots of better places around town w better service and more experience. Home girl didnt even put ice in the adioses she served so willingly to my drunk friends, they had to ask her for ice lol. If you can't tell a socially anxious sober woman from a beligerently drunk dude next to her you probably should find a new job. Cause you're not good...

Visited a few months ago after moving back to Texas, this was the only bar I loved downtown that hadent turn into trash like the rest, but the staff bottom bar, we're very picky and snobby who they were going to get drinks, always on there phone , I stood at the tall bartender lady who was looking right at me as I walked up grabbed her phone changed the music on the bike box system they have looked st me again then laughed at something on her phone then showed her phone to a customer laughed some more and then looked at me.. at this point I gestured with my hand, her attitude went from laughing to annoyed that I made her walk from her friends to where I was, simple order Coors light shot of jack, her reply rudely is that all, still not bothered I replied yes, she then runs my card tears the receipt before it was done printing and puts my card and receipt in was was spilled un wiped liquid, also the door guy loves to size up anyone who seems to be a lifter, not sure why you would try to...

So the bartender really sucked, she made the drinks well but she took forever. I literally stood there at times for 15 minutes. I also saw customers just straight up leave because they didn't have time for her. Also she said there was no wait list then held a table for 30 minutes for a friend. She was rude and often you had to order the drink three times in order for her to bring it to you. There is no chalk for the pool sticks and the sticks themselves are oddly weighted. The second bartender that came was much more attentive. I almost started snapping at the first bartender because she only paid attention to the middle of the bar, but I resisted. I did only order a couple of drinks mostly it was just water. There was no bouncer in the beginning and the bartender only carded a few customers sparingly. There was no cut off for drinking. Playing pool was nice. They also blasted the music about 30 minutes into our game. It was obnoxious. The pool was okay the service was terrible but...
