The Box Performance Space — Attraction in Albuquerque

A nice little place! Came here to see a comedian. Staff at check-in was friendly! Waiting area had a couple couches and seats. The venue is small but a cozy room. Chairs could have been spaced a wee bit better/more for the event--I know the whole social distancing thing is over but leg & elbow room is a must as the chairs were sadly not all that comfortable. The microphones were not working at all making it hard to hear the comedians at times. Working quality mics are an absolute must for stand-up comedy. This was a good place! My overall impression began when i opened the door. The door opened and closed softly behind me (very impressive). Also, none of the windows were broken. But then confetti cannons exploded everywhere and a flock of doves flew overhead. Then I was served mini wieners on a platter made of caviar. I didn't even have to hover when I took my post wiener consumption dump because the toilets were so clean. My family came here for the first time and started with "The Show", it's an act at 9pm on Fridays. We enjoyed the entertainment so much we stayed for "The Hive" at 10:15pm. I can't remember the last time we laughed our butts off so hard. It was great to see my grandmother enjoy a good laugh. These stand up comedians are no slouch and have some hilarious chops.
