What else can I say other than “go, now!” La Cumbre is one of our favorite breweries, and with a westside locations, we love it even more. We actually enjoy the atmosphere and employee base at this location much better than the brewery location on Gerrard. They have a great outdoor sitting area with lots of shade, a diverse (but heavily IPA related) menu, and there are almost never children here, probably because they don’t have food. Don’t let that deter you though, there’s a Grass Burger next door. Go splurge.

I love this place! Pet friendly (inside and outside), no food but you are welcome to bring your own food and there is a sandwich place next door and several places close by that deliver ( feel free to bring your own food from wherever). The staff is very friendly and they always bring treats and water to my well behaved pup. Also they have nice wood tables and booths along with a shuffle board table. Also some of the best beer in NM in my opinion!

The La Cumbre brewery offers good tasting beer. The unfortunate thing about this location is that they will charge you a 16 oz beer with 10 to 12 oz of actual beer, they will also charge you a 20 oz beer and give you 14 to 16 oz. the explanation I received is, "foam is still beer". my picture shows a glass sold as a "pint". the glasses are true to 16 and 20 ounces, to the brim.

I had been a loyal customer of La Cumbre for years, but after my experience with this new taproom, I will never be a customer of theirs again. I have witnessed staff cursing and swearing about customers within the taproom and treat patrons, including myself, rather rudely in the past. I brushed it off as a new location opening and having to cycle through some bad apples. On the night of 12/08/2018, I went into the taproom with my spouse and a couple friends. I became unusually ill after having two beers, and only consumed two beers the entire night. Symptoms the next day made me think there might have been nefarious activity involved or something placed in my drink. I alerted their manager after thinking on the situation for a couple of days and she apologized and said she would review camera footage of her employees. I explained that I had posted a previous negative review of my experience in which their employees were cursing and swearing in regards to patrons. After posting this review and returning, I had decided not to return for awhile, but decided to finally "give them another shot". I told them I had concerns as it was apparent during my most recent visit that their staff were clearly aware of my review based on the treatment I received that night. I told them, however, that it is impossible for me to know for sure if this occurred (nefarious activity), and so I was not directly accusing them of anything. The manager said she would review the footage and get back to me. After not hearing back for two days, I called the same number the manager had initially called me from and the phone was answered by Jeff, the owner. I explained to him the story and he stated he would get with the manager and call me back the same day. He called me later that afternoon and said that he did not see any nefarious activity on footage. He then informed me he would appreciate it if we (assuming my spouse and I) did not return to the taproom. He said the staff seems to have an issue with "us", but would not provide any specifics. I am inclined to believe this may be discriminatory in nature.

Instead of correcting the problem, he complained that "I can't replace all my staff". He accused myself and my spouse of rudely treating his staff. He provided no specifics or details. He stated he did not welcome us back to your establishment.

Based on all of this, I firmly believe this is further suspicion of possible illegal activity at their establish. I find their actions repulsive and disgusting. I have never been treated as such by a...

Stopped in at 9:50 with a friend thinking we'd have plenty of time to get a couple quick beers before they close at 11:00. Didn't want to be jerks and hang out too late. Went back up to the bar at 10:15 to order another round and was told rather rudely that last call had already happened and they wouldn't serve me. Previous times I'd been here they've served me much closer to closing time, I thought it was strange that they stopped serving so early despite being open for 45 more minutes. Then I watched from my table as the server poured a couple more beers for some people at the bar. I get wanting to close and get tf out as early as possible but the server clearly just didn't feel like dealing with me and my friend and was pretty rude and dismissive to us. We would have gone somewhere else if we knew we couldn't get a beer 45 minutes before they close. Probably...

I would like to start by saying I am a Gm of a brewery here in Abq and I know and love beer this is one of my favorite places and it is close as hell to my house . This is sadly irrelevant cuss the beer is perf but today I came in and saw a visibly drunken man purchase a case Togo… then struggle to walk out towards his car stumbling and chill for min before he drove away

We told the staff about it and they just looked like a child being caught with their hand in a cookie jar and had to go talk to their bud who served him.

Tried getting the guys plate but he flew by in the parking lot

I know over serving happens but a lack of care from the person that served him is insane to me. Not saying fire the guy but something should be done, training final warning or follow up. We have insane laws here in Abq and the majority of the reason for it is for reasons...
