Monaco Market — Restaurant in Albuquerque

I’m not usually one to complain, but as someone who manages an organization, I feel obligated to share my experience. I visited your shop this past Saturday, traveling in from Santa Fe, and had been looking forward to it for quite some time.

When I arrived, there was a man behind the counter with a younger woman. I couldn’t tell if she worked there or not—she was at one point behind the counter, then came around and stood in front of it. She mentioned she had just returned from Houston for the summer, and the man’s full attention was on her as he flirted with her throughout my entire visit.

In the ten minutes I spent in the store, I was never once greeted, acknowledged, or offered any assistance. I came in eager to purchase several items, but the lack of customer service left me so frustrated that I walked out without buying anything. I turned to my brother and said how disappointed I was. Unfortunately, I will not be returning after such a negative experience.

I’m sharing this because I hope it can be corrected for the sake of future customers and to prevent you from losing sales and revenue.

When I walk in the store I like to enjoy the Coolest ceiling lights! There is a lot to look at! good vibes and trendy/imported snacks, smoke gear and stuff like that, other material goodies can be found, such as pins, stickers and random items like a hello kitty or Pokemon ramen bowl set and so much more! Respect the family owned business and the friendly staff, all snacks have unknown flavors; variety, fun and trendy; it’ is a hit or miss on some of the snacks, especially when some flavors are not acquired because they are from other places around the world. it’s worth a try if you are curious about the snacks online, some snacks aren’t that good but the packaging is cute and it’s good for the experience, and some snacks aren’t so good that you will crave them and want more, and will go back and buy more if they have it; the price range is fair or in some eyes kinda costly but they have a reward program...

Very cool spot, lots of snacks to choose from. The gentleman that helped us was very charismatic and kind. My only issue, which maybe someone can confirm, was the viral Dubai chocolate that we bought. We got 4 of the pistachio ones, and 3 of the other flavors. And at $13 a bar, we spent good money. The other flavors were between good and great!!! (Cookoe and creme the best one) But the well known pistachio flavor was not good! There wasn't the same amount of filling like the others and tasted very stale and hard to chew! I did a comparison of how the cookies and cream looks to the pistachio, and you can see the difference. All 4 of the pistachio bars were like that and we just threw them away. From what I read online, it wasn't supposed to be like that. We will still be back, maybe we just got...
