My son and I attended the Mother's Day tea brunch. I was happy they had vegan and gluten free options for me. My disappointment came when they sat us at a tiny table. I don't know of it was a tiny coffee table or a kids table. My back was against the wall and I basically sat in a corner. My leg was cramped the whole time. My son is tall and the seat and table was very low. The table was awkward for both of us. I wore a nice dress and I felt awkward sitting at low table. My coat brushed the floor the whole time. The waitress was nice but kept telling us the whole time they were so busy and we could only have 1 choice of the teas. I asked about the table and was told it was because we were a table of 2. The food was good and tea was good. We paid over 75.00 for small portions. I would have been ok with this if the overall experience was better. We were told at least 5x they were so busy. I am glad I had the time with my son, but the overall experience was not ideal. I felt like self-conscious at the table we got even though we were paying the same for the meal and experience. The waitress was overwhelmed and kept reminding us. The small low table could not even accommodate the plates,...

A hidden gem of the Bricklight district. Our city could definitely benefit from more establishments like this one that has a clear vision and promotes inclusivity while bringing unique experiences to the table. Overall good first impression but some things could be improved. First, we weren’t greeted or welcomed upon walking in. The person at the counter looked at us and then began talking to a regular customer at the counter. We stood there awkwardly and even when they were done we weren’t spoken to or offered help. Luckily, there were some menus on the counter to look at and the other employee working eventually came to the counter and was very friendly and helpful- otherwise, we probably would have left. We ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and lavender syrup (delicious) and a burque fog (sadly, not good at all-very little flavor). We also got two kolaches. I don’t know anywhere else in town that offers kolaches and they were so good! These were of the savory variety-a sausage and egg one and a chicken pesto one. Soft bread and delicious filling! The interior is cozy and eclectic without being cluttered. I would definitely come back for a themed tea party (unicorns and fairy themed coming...

I had the most wonderful Early Birthday Tea at Snapdragon Tea. Thier food is flavored perfectly. The mushroom soup is a hearty wonderful delight. The cucumber herb cheese sandwich is perfection. I very much enjoyed the Pistachio Rose Scone. Just what a scone should be. I got the Cream Earl Grey tea pot with lavender syrup on the side and milk for my tea. It did not disappoint. My friend had the Scottish Breakfast tea with a chorizo potato kolache. The kolache bread is exactly what kolache bread should be. I will call ahead next time to pre-order my kilbasa kolache. They have themed tea parties on weekends or you can come for a Personal party weekdays and weekends. We spoke with the owner who was just a wonderful lady doing wonderful work. Her staff was fantastic and answered every question I had. I will be back, and can't wait to share some tea time with my daughter. They also have New Mexico Tea Company teas for purchase, so I was able restocked my Cream Earl Grey right there. Price are reasonable and food is delicious. I recommend going to enjoy alone or with a...

A friend and I came for the dragon themed tea party and had a delightful time! Overall the vibe of the shop is super cozy, cute, and welcoming— I enjoyed the little coloring cup with cutouts of dragons and cats that was at the table when we arrived :) The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable and there was no trouble accommodating dietary restrictions in our party. The tea is top quality, from NM Tea Company, and the options for pairing with the food are well thought out. The food was both adorable AND delicious, which I feel like is a rare combination! I am plant based and appreciated that there was both a full plant based menu offered for the tea party and also that pretty much all of the pastries in the case at the counter for a la carte orders were plant based as well (I definitely will be back for a little breakfast treat since I work nearby!). We both definitely plan on coming back for another tea party in the future!
