To Whom It May Concern, As a former Partner with Starbucks, I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding a recent experience at one of your store locations. Over the past two weeks, I have been a regular patron at this location, typically visiting during morning hours without issue. However, during my lunch break today, I encountered an interaction that was not only disheartening but also inconsistent with the standards of customer service I came to know and uphold during my tenure with the company. Upon entering the store, I selected a seat to relax and read during my break and then proceeded to the register to request a cup of water. I intended to make a purchase before departing, as has often been my practice. However, I was immediately informed by the barista—identified as Aspen—that water would not be provided without a prior purchase. I expressed surprise, citing my experience as a former Partner and the long-standing commitment Starbucks has had to hospitality and community service. Aspen reiterated that water is reserved for paying customers only. I requested to speak with the shift supervisor or manager on duty to confirm whether there had been a policy change. Caitlyn, who appeared to be the supervisor, confirmed the same stance, stating that access to water, restrooms, and even seating was now conditional on making a purchase. Despite explaining that I intended to place an order before returning to work, I was met with a tone that I found dismissive, condescending, and wholly inconsistent with the values Starbucks claims to uphold. As someone who was once proud to be named Partner of the Quarter, this interaction was especially disheartening. The lack of courtesy, the rigid and unwelcoming delivery of policy, and the overall treatment I received were not reflective of the company culture I once knew. If this is indeed a new policy, its implementation—particularly the tone and approach with which it is enforced—warrants immediate review. I will be documenting this experience in a formal letter to Starbucks’ corporate offices and strongly urge a reevaluation of how such policies are communicated to both staff and customers. Regrettably, this experience has led me to reconsider my patronage of Starbucks altogether—a decision I never anticipated making given the high regard I once held for this company. Sincerely, Chance Taelor Former Partner, Starbucks Coffee Company

09/02/23: Once again – was not given my receipt. I only came back here cuz too low on gas to go elsewhere. Mocha Cookie Crumble was -meh- compared to other SBs – I'm not sure they blended in the cinnamon powder I requested; they didn't sprinkle any (or any 'crumble') on top like most SBs do, anyhow; & no cinnamon taste or smell in particular. Also: the restrooms have those push faucets that are supposed to run awhile after you press them, but never do. So, to keep H20 going you have to stand on one leg & keep a knob pressed down with the other heel, if you want both hands in the faucet stream. I'm unnaturally flexible & can do this but (A) you gotta _make_ me? and (B) I'm sure most people just get frustrated with the math. 10/24/22 7:36 a.m. Asked for Pikes drip coffee, and for them to use my stars (Starbucks rewards points) for payment. Had to wait for Pikes to brew (this time of day they should have been better prepared) – then after I left looked at receipt (which I'd had to request) & saw they'd charged me cash without authorization against my payment card which is $2.75 for a lousy 12 oz of joe, NOT the 50 stars for brewed coffee as I'd ordered.

Worst Starbucks service in town? First I have to say that this location may have been swamped by balloon fiesta extra business this morning, which has probably is been a hardship for the staff. But regardless, I ordered an oatmeal and a bag of coffee on the Starbucks app, then I had to make another stop on the way up so it took me a while… 25 minutes later I showed up and the bagged coffee was waiting on the shelf, but the oatmeal wasn’t made yet.I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to make my breakfast. and they weren’t even busy! I don’t understand - what’s the purpose of ordering ahead on the app if they don’t actually make it until you arrive? PS: They do have a great patio! This is an older location and one of the only ones in town that still believes in south facing patios. Absolutely the best plan for our cold but sunny winter months!

Wasn't super impressed this time... normally my experience is pretty average for Starbucks. This time I went in, placed my order, asked to use my reward... then the cashier scanned my card and told me the new balance so I scanned it again thinking he used the reward and that adjusted the price... he then explained to me that I didn't have enough money on my card for my order... after I asked to use my reward... which you know that's one thing totally fine he probably didn't hear me or understand. But then I went to go wait for my order where the two baristas were talking about what bad employees they are and mocking their supervisor "that's against company policy, that's against company policy" and continue to talk amongst themselves about what bad employees they are... they then hand me the wrong drink. Now I've worked for Starbucks and wrong drinks happen and I have no issue with either correcting the mistake politely or just accepting the wrong drink because it's often still something I enjoy anyway... however I felt uncomfortable asking for them to remake my drink after they just spent upwards of 5 minutes making the wrong drink for me while opening saying how bad they are at their jobs... I hate giving poor reviews for places I do visit semi-often but I mean the employees have to be aware of what their customers are saying AND of what their customers...

Starbucks is a well-known coffee chain that has locations all over the world. The company offers a variety of coffee and tea drinks, as well as a selection of pastries and snacks.

One of the things I appreciate about Starbucks is the consistency of their products. Regardless of which location I visit, I know that I will receive a high-quality, delicious drink every time. The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone, from classic coffee drinks to specialty espresso-based drinks.

Another great aspect of Starbucks is the atmosphere of their stores. The spaces are well-designed, with a welcoming and relaxing vibe. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they are always happy to help customers choose the perfect drink.

The company also offers a rewards program, which is a great way to earn perks and discounts on future visits. Additionally, Starbucks is known for their commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing, making it a great choice for environmentally conscious customers.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Starbucks for anyone looking for a delicious and convenient coffee or tea drink. Whether you're in the mood for a classic latte or a specialty drink, you won't be disappointed. It's definitely worth the visit and I give...
