Buyer beware!!! Charging a higher price here over other locations!
Seriously, I buy Starbucks coffees for my employees and customers all day, everyday from various locations in the Albuquerque and Santa Fe communities
Today has been the first time I have stopped at this location on Juan Tabo in Albuquerque. I ordered the same drink I buy twice a day for someone and the price is $7.80?
I buy this exact item throughout two cites and the price is $7.48 for the exact same coffee? My receipts and App are loaded with a consistent purchase so I questioned it and was told the Starbucks is having a "New launch" and thats probably the reason? So, I ordered the same item from another location I normally frequent and sure enough it's the same price it was yesterday of $7.48?
The gentleman at the counter "Mark" was as consistent in his understanding and as it turns out neither one of us were aware that this is obviously a inconsistent price format not consistent with the other locations?
The fault isn't him and with a nationwide consensus of whether the consumer is paying more than they should for food, luxuries ad hospitality I think it's a greater sad reality when I just had to ask him if the staff their was hopefully being paid more than the other locations with a clear "No", unfortunatey?? What's really happening here??
I'm still going to buy the coffee for others tomorrow. It's not the staff's fault the franchise owner or Starbucks Corp thinks that someone isn't going to realize it? What's next "Surge pricing" for your caffeine fix...lol The ones that it affects the most is the staff and consumer that's really getting taken here.
They aren't getting extra pay. They aren't getting tipped more and your paying a "Location charge" for the same item you should or could literally buy down the street at a lower price? I'm not doing it.
I will be more cautious about inconsistent pricing and unknown "up charges" moving forward when making purchases with Starbucks.
If your going to charge us more give it to your employees. This kind of business practice is the exact reason the American public is loosing trust and faith in the companies we purchase from and it's your employees that don't deserve it when they are just trying to make a living. Shame on you!
Choose the Juan Tabo location that obviously is charging a consistent price down the road...
Read moreThis has been my go to location for a while. The last several times I’ve gone, my drink really has not been good. They seem to ignore any and all changes to a drink and will only make the standard recipe now. And even then, it tastes like they’re going light on the flavors.
I ordered a latte with no whipped cream, I got whipped cream. Every pumpkin spice Frappuccino I order, I order extra pumpkin spice topping. Every time, they barely give me any at all. Today, I order extra pumps of pumpkin as well. It tastes like they barely even put in one.
This is getting annoying. I’m getting frustrated. Once or twice every now and then is fine, but every time is ridiculous.
Update:
After sitting in a mostly empty store for 13 minutes, I watched one of the other two customers place and receive his order before mine was even started. When I finally got the order that I placed ahead of time, it was wrong. It’s way too sweet and there is no coffee flavor. This is the second time I’ve had to contact customer support for a refund. This is absolutely ridiculous and starting to feel discriminatory. I was told that feedback would be sent to the store and that I would receive a phone call from the manager.
A mistake every now and then is understandable. But when you’re suddenly messing up my drink every time I’ve ordered since pointing out the drink that was made incorrectly, it’s much more...
Read moreI’m so beside myself right now. I was kind of caught offf guard. And I regret paying for my drink. I’m very nice to the workers here. What happened was that I ordered a venti drink with no ice and extra oat milk to fill it up. I know they make the drink with ice so when I ordered it I said I don’t mind if it’s not cold. The nice person (whose fault this was not) at the window actually hands me a venti drink not even a 3rd full and explained that they needed me to ask for it with oat milk? I asked for extra oat milk to begin with. It actually made no sense. She then asked me if I wanted it in a grande cup which wasn’t even full either. I payed actually 7 dollars of my money. That’s the most cheap thing I’ve witnessed. Clearly you guys don’t care about your customers even though you get paid VERY well and work for a multibillion dollar corporation. Yet my venti drink was a tall. Yes. I am pressed. People should stop going to Starbucks let alone this one with a stuck up employee. I wish the lady at the window acknowledged how ridiculous that was and had it remade instead of explaining it to me. I didn’t even know what to say but I’m just disgusted by this...
