When I was younger, I would go to Coronado Mall. I dont know how many people in ABQ recall the Frozen Banana dipped in chocolate place they had. I would beg my mom to take me! Ya see I've been a foodie my whole life!! Unfortunately, most times my moms answer was NO. Well guess what! I'm a grown up now and I do what I want!!!!! I love The Paleta Bar for many reasons... and one of those reasons is it takes me back to the times of having a frozen banana dipped in chocolate and rolled in peanuts! Here is the difference in old memories and making new memories. When you are kid you are given very few choices and as an adult you have many choices in front of you. The Paleta Bar is a huge rainbow of choices... and I do mean huge!!!! You pick your Paleta Bar from an abundance flavors Ya get your fun Paleta choice either 1/2 dipped or full dipped into one of many chocolatey options And seriously if that's not enough you have the super fun, super energetic talented "Paleta-Guru"dip that chocolate-dipped paleta into toppings of your choice! Ohhhh, wait.... there's more! Last but not least you can then get another chocolate sauce drizzled all over the top!!! Cottonwood Mall is an excellent choice for The Paleta Bar because in a world full of brand names & chain stores I'd much rather be supporting local, thinking local, eating local and buying local and because who doesn't want the best & koolest ice cream dessert ever that you can design on your own!!!! My family and I make mall visits frequently and always stop by Paleta for the drinks if nothing else. Suzi the cashier must of been having a bad day this past Saturday because not only did she not remember me or my teenage daughters she was so rude and very impatient. My daughter was paying with my debt card and we were talking out loud she grabbed the debt card from her hands and said with a smile I’ll do this for you ma’am and boy she was angry. All thought she was smiling she was nodding her head like she was not happy and annoyed we were there. The drinks were also watered down heavily! Unlike most days when we go. So needless to say I will no longer be stopping by here due to the way Suzi treated us. Instead I will now be a regular at Oasis...

Today I went with my children to this place to get a snack. We arrived about an hour before closing and ordered several items. However, the person who attended us was quite rude. She told us they no longer had “Dubai strawberries” because “they turn everything off early,” and when we asked for Cheetos with cheese, she also said the machine had already been turned off and that she could only sell popsicles.

I understand that if you arrive right at closing time, some products might not be available, but this happened with more than an hour to go. I think they should keep the full service available until the official closing time, or at least communicate it in a kind and...
