FYE — Local services in Albuquerque

Very shady. It is bad business to pitch a "free" membership, have the customer signup and then as they are paying say oh yeah its 11.99 a month after 30 days (as I'm reading the very fine print on the tiny screen that is trying to get me to agree to charge my card $11.99 a month. Be upfront and honest with the customer that there is a monthly fee for the membership, do Not even use the words "free" when it's not. We realized after leaving that this was the company that charged my husbands card for 2 years for a "free rewards program" he signed up for. Yes it took 2 years to cancel and was never told there was a charge at all. I'm wondering why this hasnt been reported and how many people they have scammed by saying it's free and not mentioning the charge, and these poor people are overlooking the fine print. The two cashiers were super sweet! I had so many questions and they knew the pricing and answers off the top of their head. They were also pretty cool, I had a great time in there. It was the best shopping experience I've had at a FYE. Usually I get great service in FYE, I just thought these employees were above and beyond. I'm unfortunately terrible with names, but I went on a Wednesday night and there was a female with purple hair and a guy with glasses working. I also loved that this store was organized pretty well. I always love going into FYEs for merch and to look around. They're one of the few places with vinyls, dvds, and unique merch left. I got an awesome deal for hoodies with their buy one get one free! Manager was way disrespectful. Went in to sell some movies and was told my passport wasn't a form of ID they can take. I then pointed at the manager (did not know it was at the time) and said "Well last time I tried using it she let me" and she comes over and said that she is only allowed to do it once and she can't ever use it again. I know she just didn't want to because she complained last time she did use it about how difficult it is. I informed them that they need to start letting people who come in and use their passports that they won't ever be able to use them again and she just looked at me and gave me a dirty look so I left.
