Does not even deserve 1 star. I say this after several experiences over the span of 4 months. They are consistently terrible. The only reason I have tried to deal with them so many times is that I work a third shift job. Nothing is open besides Domino's. On their website they say that they deliver until 12 but when try place an order won't go through. Call in they say they stop taking deliveries at 11! In past I have been able to order after 11. Ok I can understand policies may change however on the rare instances I have been able to actually order a pizza it came cold and burnt. Separate times I only received half my order and when show I have video proof still won't refund my money or bring rest of order. often when I would order the order tracker would say it was in transit and I would still have to wait an hour even though I am only half a mile down the road from them! When ever I have to call they are very confrontational and rude. When I actually tried stopping in to get my pizza they were just as confrontational and rude. Didn't acknowledge I was there for 30 min so I left. Another time took order burnt it didn't offer to cook another or discount it just smirked and shrugged. Another shorted my order while I was there and tried to charge twice as much. Another time they insisted I hadn't paid even though I stood there with them earlier and paid! Then said they meant for the sauces had to show on receipt that I had then he said for the additional ones I was asking for and so had to show he had given me non! Then had the nerve to say he would have to get the manager to give me my sauces only for me to have to go through the whole process again! At this point if you are in Alexander City choose a different pizza place there are 3. If you are up late like me and Domino's is your only option. Go hungry. You...
Read moreI was very sick but had a death in our close circle. Out of caution, I decided to order pizza instead. I should have chosen any other place in town. I ordered pizzas online, including a cheese one (so no obvious problems with cheese) but these pizzas came with no cheese. I was humiliated, when someone called to say there is no cheese on these pizzas. Wow! My grandson picked them up & delivered them so I had no contact (again I am sick). The really bad part is that I was sent a survey & answered honestly. I received a reply naming the manager & giving the local number, asking me to call her. It also explained the "no cheese" button & asked for me to call the manager & explain to see if there was anything she could do. Well apparently the manager doesn't talk to ppl. I asked, the girl asked my name, I gave it, she asked what it was about. I explained that I was told to talk to the manager. She started that she would have to know what it's about before she will come to the phone. So much for a "manager", who refuses to manage. No customer service at all!! I politely told the girl that I would reply to corporate & for her to have a great day Worst mistake ever, complete waste of money. Who eats pizza with no cheese.....NOBODY! A true manager would have called to confirm this. Problem would have been solved!!! I would have done better & cheaper by ordering gas station pizza. People who know me, (a lot do), know I don't bash it local business ever. But when the manager can't even be bothered take a 2-minute phone call, that's not a place we need in Alex City!!! Maybe some big city, but not in this small town. We still believe in friendliness & good customer service. Come on Alex City, this is completely...
Read moreTotally unsatisfactory delivery experience. Working from home, I decide to order Domino's around 12:45pm. According to the Domino's tracker, my order was out of the oven at 1pm. It's lunchtime, so we expect a slight delay in delivery. We wait, and wait, and wait some more. At 1:45pm I try to call the store. The lame recording you have to listen to each time you call ends and the line goes dead as soon as it rings at the store. This happens multiple times. Finally, at 2pm a woman identifying herself as the manager answers. I ask about my order and she tells me (whines at me), that they only have one driver and that driver is only allowed to take one order at a time, but assures me my order is going out the door as we speak. Great. I'm hungry and unhappy, and now I know my order has been out of the oven for more than an hour - so I'm going to have to reheat it when it gets here. More waiting. Check the pizza tracker. It tells me my order left the store at 2:11pm, gives me an ETA of 2:27 - which sounds about right for a trip from Dominos to my house (if the driver is driving slow and cautiously). More waiting. Check the tracker again, now it says ETA is 2:30. Then 2:36. Then 2:41. By this point I know my pizza and sandwich are ice cold, and the Alfredo is going to be subpar. Driver didn't even bother to knock or ring bell when my order finally got delivered - probably afraid of facing the customer - sometime around 2:45.
This is not a one time problem. We have issues with delivery consistently with this Domino's. I'm hoping someone above the store level can get things...
