The food is epic. It definitely over delivers. The wings are fantastic, brined, rubbed, smoked and I am assuming fried prior to serving. The flavor is fantastic, even with the tame (by heat) sauces. These are easily on par with Knock Back Nats wings and not as spicy, so they probably appeal to many more.
I also had the Smoked and Fried Bologna Sandwich! Epic! Tater tots are really good, and the kids' chicken and waffles were also excellent. We will be back for sure. I suggest you try this place out if you hadn't before. Being inside Alexandria Brewing Company is also a bonus as they have some pretty solid beers as well.
Ok we went back on a Saturday. And they definitely need to step up their game in the kitchen. They took orders with buzzers. Why they don't take all orders as they come is beyond me. wouldn't you want to know what's incoming? I don't know. The food was great the first time. We've been waiting 2 hours the 2nd time. Perhaps come on a weeknight and expect slow service.? Not a great...
Read moreAMAZING FOOD inside a brewery! You can't go wrong with any item on Bender's Pub Grub menu. We are regulars at ABC Brewery and Bender's. It's a neighborhood favorite. The addition of Bender's Pub Grub was just the added touch ABC Brewery needed. Bender's smoked Chicken Wings are the best in the city. The award winning Smash Burger is worth the trip to Alexandria, KY. The southern flare of the Shrimp and Grits and Chicken Club sandwich will leave you wanting more. Don't get me started about the amazing Pea Salad. We highly recommend visiting Bender's Grub for dinner or lunch. Bender's beats the other local restaurant, Barleycorn's, 100%. Bender's food is all freshly prepared with a unique and interesting twist to their menu. We have stopped visiting Barleycorn's and now eat at Bender's. The service is...
Read moreBender’s Pub Hub delivered pure brilliance during Hamburger Week—anchored by a burger that featured a perfectly crisp, golden fried pork chop riding shotgun atop the juicy beef patty. It was over-the-top in concept, but flawlessly executed.
Each bite balanced bold textures and flavors: the savory crunch of that pork chop, the tender beef beneath, creamy melted cheese, and toppings that didn’t compete—they complemented. It was a double-meat revelation that somehow never felt too heavy, just deeply satisfying. And the bun? Held it all together like it knew it was supporting greatness.
Bender’s didn’t just create a burger. They created a moment that left everyone rethinking what belongs between two slices of bread. This one's going down in...
