Casa Jalisco — Restaurant in Alexandria

I arrived here with my friend decently early in the afternoon, close to 5pm, and the restaurant was pretty empty. we were sat quickly and given chips to snack on. we asked for waters when the chips came out and it took them at least 10 minutes to bring them out. we then waited an additional 15 minutes (or more) to place an order and it wasn’t until a server overheard my friend and i talking about potentially leaving when we were asked for our orders. we decided that we were going to leave and asked if we could pay for the chips since we didn’t want to leave without paying. we were then charged over $7 for a basket of chips and two waters. the chips and salsa were good but the service was not...

First time here and will definitely be going back. Service was fast & friendly. We went on a Saturday mid-afternoon and I think we were the only ones there. I ordered the Alexandria Fajita Special. Was full of flavor w/criapy but tender vegies served on a hot skillet. What threw me off was when server said it was made w/chicken, streak, and pork - I'm thinking super - but when I got my skillet, the "pork" was ham steak & bones were still in it. Pork Loin would have been better. Giant Lime Margaritas were GOOD & also on special. Location is perfect when your downtown shopping...

The waiter did not bring us waters, just brought us chips and salsa, I had about 2 chips and I needed water but the waiter didn't come around for a long time and I had to litterally go to the women's bathroom and drink from the sink to wash everything down, then the margaritas were so full you picked it up and it spilled everywhere, but there were no napkins, we had to ask for napkins. So I sat with margarita all over me till the waiter came with napkins. Then when they gave us silverware rolled in the napkins they have us a plastic fork and knife in the napkins. I will...
