My husband told me that this bakery has been around ever since he was a kid. I went here for the first time today with him and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and inexpensive their items are! We got a macaroon brownie, which is a brownie with coconut and a chocolate frosting, and a chocolate covered double layer chocolate cake. We bought these for just $2.50! Of note, we used cash because there is a $5 minimum for credit and debit cards. I can see why they are still around today because this place is actually really good! Everything we ate tasted really fresh and moist. I would like to come here again in the future.

What a lovely bakery! The smell of warm baked goods greets you as you walk in. The prices are so low and the quality is out of this world. I love their lion logo (Roers, get it??), and I can never leave without getting a danish or two.

Great bakery in downtown Alexandria! Plenty of donuts, breads, cookies, desserts, and more to choose from. We really enjoyed their glazed donut and sprinkle donut! If we lived in the area, we would get their bread and rolls.

I have been here before with my boyfriend & it was a sentimental stop for us on a birthday trip. Doughnuts were great & I wanted to order a few and surprise him with them on his birthday. I tried to call & ask about this & when I reached someone I asked about ordering and picking up Sunday, she said they aren’t open Sunday & in the middle of my sentence asking about a Saturday pickup instead she literally talked over me to say “good luck” and hung up on me. Have tried to call back several times & line is always busy or they don’t answer. I had asked previously about a preorder (probably 12 doughnuts, nothing crazy big) and they said they do that, so super disappointing to have such a rude reception to asking a question. Normally I love to support a small business but I won’t be doing so going forward if this is how they...

The owners are extremely rude and unfriendly. Donuts are average. I walked in this morning to purchase some donuts. I was texting my wife while waiting in line to order and the owner yells at me from the counter “are you going to get off your phone any time soon?!” I responded saying, “wow. That was rude.” The owner responded by saying, “well what do you want me to say??” I responded, “how about… what can I get for you?” There was no true apology and they continued to treat me (a consistent customer) very poorly. I left and did not purchase anything. If you do go, make sure you know exactly what you want and don’t you dare get...
