Cenla Grill and Chill — Restaurant in Alexandria

I walked in at 12:12 on a Saturday and ordered a burger. As I waited for the next 54 minutes, the kitchen output was approximately 10 boxes of food. It really wasn't that busy, they were catching up to orders placed before I got there. I received no explanation for having to wait nearly an hour to get a burger, no apology for the long wait and when I finally asked for a refund I got it with a smile as if I had just ordered a burger and it would be out shortly.

I really want to like local businesses and this place sells a decent burger when the buns aren't cold (a separate issue), but have to warn people about their being oblivious to the idea that they should try not to inconvenience their customers for trying to give them business.

In addition to the other issues, there is preciously little area to dine in or wait for your order. The other up side to ordering to go is that, assuming the burger fits in the box with the lid closed (not all of them do), the mattie may have time to warm up the bread by the time you get to the place where you are...

YALL. We just tried Cenla Grill & Chill for the first time. WOWOWOWOW. Best burger in cenla by far. It was soooo juicy and tender, melts in your mouth. We got the chophouse burger which had a patty, chopped brisket, grilled onions, cheese and BBQ sauce. We also got the greasy pig, which was house cut fries, Mac and cheese, pulled pork and BBQ sauce. a literal gem in the city. my husband and I ate here, and it was sooo good. I got the chophouse burger with a side of fries, my husband got the double smash burger, a side of fries, and a sausage sandwich. we also got a small order of the potbelly fries. I was a little hesitant to eat them because i didn’t know how mac and cheese and fries would work, but it did. the bbq made it all come together so nicely.
