Please do Not come to this person. I don’t get how he was good reviews, that’s why I made the mistake of using him. My computer lap top needed a screen replacement and after a week he hadn’t done anything I keep on calling and he always would say that he didn’t have the chance and he’ll do it the next day and he continued to be like that for a week, then he finally called saying he had taking the screen apart and was going to order the piece and I asked if he made sure that the lap top worked and he said he didn’t had the chance to check if the lap top was even worth repairing. If I didn’t ask that he would’ve replace the screen without even checking if the lap top actually worked. And he said he’ll do it later then I just asked for my lap top back since he never cared about repairing and wouldn’t give me a quote just had ambiguous answers when I ask about the cost. He gave my lap top back with the screen taken apart in a Walmart bag, and charged $100 for nothing bc he did absolutely nothing with my lap top. It is ridiculous I feel robbed. Luckily I brought it to Southern Technologies in Lake Charles and they fixed right away they were surprised that this man charged me for nothing and gave my lap top on a Walmart bag. Don’t go to this guy, he has no professionalism at all and works from home. Go to a established place that takes the job seriously and can do a guaranteed job. He robbed me, there’s no other words. I regret very much wasting my time, gas and money...

I was very impressed with Computer PhD, LLC! After calling James - the owner/technician of this company - and describing the problems I had been having with my computer, we decided that he would work on it back at his shop. He arranged to have it picked up from my home. This was a huge help to me since I have mobility issues. James was able to take an initial look at it later that evening and call me so we could discuss exactly what repairs and updates he recommended to get it to function in the way I had described to him that I needed. Two days later (on a Saturday no less!) he brought it back to my house, reconnected it to the monitor, printer, etc, made any necessary hardware adjustments, and made sure that I could operate it and was satisfied with the changes that had been made. Because of his obvious knowledge and skill of his craft, professionalism, patience with someone (me) not very computer savvy, and a nice personality, I highly recommend James and this company to anyone needing computer repairs...

Had an issue with my computer causing it to shut down. I looked online for a local computer repair company in the Alexandria/Pineville area and found Computer Phd llc. I went to the website and read many of the reviews, which most provided 5-star reviews and they were right. I contacted the company and spoke with Mr. Anderson, providing him with some background about what had happened and asked if he would be able to possibly revive if not too costly. Mr. Anderson provided directions to his home office where I dropped off my computer for him to work on. I received a text message bright and early the next morning with a photo showing my computer working and a message he had it on charge. It's good to know there is a local computer repair company in the Alexandria/Pineville area and do recommend Computer Phd llc if you have problems with...
