First time here. The service was excellent and the food was tasty and well prepared. We had appetizers: Rainbow Roll sushi, pan fried dumplings and fried wontons. The lunch entrees were Mongolian Beef and Chicken Udon, which came with egg roll, fried rice and choice of soup (I neglected to take pictures before we chowed down 😋) . All was freshly cooked and plentiful. This place will now be our new favorite for Asian food.
2023 update: We had the Green Lady sushi roll, fried wontons, Mongolian Beef and Tiny Spicy Chicken. Food was still tasty and well prepared but the service was disappointing. We had to ask for the complimentary "chips and salsa". Then we had to ask for plates to eat our appetizers. While trying to eat the appetizers, the server came and asked if we were ready to order, but both of us had mouthfuls and couldn't answer. She stood there waiting for our order while we choked down the food so we could speak. We gave our order and she went to place it. She came back with the cups of soup that came with our meal. We hadn't even had a chance to take a sip of the soup when here she came with our meals. Now, as a former waitress, I realize that last part was probably not entirely her fault, as you are supposed to serve the meal as soon as its ready, but geez. We felt rushed and weren't able to enjoy our meal as we did on our first visit. ...
Read moreFirst, I want to start off by saying that the food here is great. Anything you order here is going to be really good and is very consistent each time you order.
However, today I visited the restaurant with Chow Mein on my mind and was thrown for a loop. I've never had it here but have seen it listed on the menu. When I inquired about it, the waitress informed me that it was simply a meat and veggie dish with the little fried wonton strips on the side. I asked again to make sure I understood that their Chow Mein had NO NOODLES in the dish. What they referred to as "Chow Mein" was the little fried wonton strips you get whenever you first sit down at your table. I quickly googled "chow mein" and showed her the countless pictures of stir fried noodle dishes (non of which showed wonton strips). She confirmed that their chow mein did not look like those pictures but was indeed the little wonton crisps sitting in front of me. I was baffled. Chow mein is a very common Chinese dish and it basically always looks the same anywhere I order it.
Was this just a mistake or am I wrong in what I consider chow mein to be? I didn't see the dish so maybe someone here can verify one way or the other as to what it really is.
Aside from this, the restaurant is great and the waitress was very nice and helpful. I'd encourage anyone to give this place a try if you...
Read moreI got the “kung po steak” and the “three kind spicy sauce chef special” as the meals. However, both dishes were horrible. They both had a disgusting smell and they both tasted as if the meat was bad and spoiled. I eat here quite frequently and always ask for specific server. However, today the food was definitely not up to par. I asked a friend of mine in the group of 8 at the table what he thought since we shared the dishes family style in hopes to see if it was just me, only for him to agree that the dishes were spoiled and the meat tasted bad. I hesitated to say anything at first because I was with other friends in the group, but decided to inform the manager that the meal was horrible and the food had a funny smell and taste as feedback. I then showed him the plates that were barely touched and told him to smell the dishes only for him to evaluate and agree that the meat was not up to standards. I believe in critical feedback. As I went to pay for my meal, the manager himself charged me with another person’s ticket and once I made him aware of his mistake he chuckled and credited back the improper amount. He then asked for my credit card again to charge the proper ticket. I don’t recommend this place. It’s service and food quality has gone down. I still paid for the meals, but will...
