Due to the bad weather today, the parks were all soaking wet, so I decided to bring my two children ages four years and two years old to the McDonald’s to play in the play area. Upon arriving, I noticed a toddler probably around the age 1 1/2 playing. I didn’t think anything of it because there were other adults in the room at the time. However, it became very evident that this toddler was left unattended. The toddler had an older brother in the play area that was sitting at a table, watching his cell phone the entire time. This child also was no older than 10 years old. This child is not at fault, of course. a worker from McDonald’s in a uniform got the toddler when he ran out of the playroom and into the dining area. She brought him back into the playroom and told his older brother to watch him. This toddler very quickly started beating up on my two children. He pushed my daughter age two years old down the slide several times, pulled her hair several times, pushed her down to the ground, and smacked her. When I had finally had enough, I told my children to get their shoes and that we will try to come back another day. When my oldest son, four years old was grabbing his shoes, the toddler proceeded to smack him several times. As we were leaving, the unattended toddler ran out of the playroom and into the dining area, where he then went with his mother behind the counter into the kitchen. His mother said, and did nothing. His older brother said and did nothing. Also after I had ordered our food and drinks at the kiosk, I stood at the front desk waiting for someone to be able to get our cups so that I could make my children’s drinks. Employees walked by and blatantly ignored me whenever I said, excuse me to try and get their attention to be able to get our cups. That went on for about five minutes until I finally just left the counter and waited for them to bring the food to us and then was able to ask for them to get cups for us. that is very frustrating of course but the most frustrating part is this toddler’s behavior, and the fact that he was completely unattended, and that he was behind the counter in the kitchen near all of...
Read moreOrdered thru the app for Jackson Street ext. Alexandria Louisiana McDonald's. When I got there I parked, checked in. But after 30-35 minutes an frustrated with the app saying order is being prepared while cars come an go all around me I decided to pull around to the drive thru. I gave my name & order # etc. Our food was miraculously ready. Cold flaccid McDonald's French fries wasn't what I had in mind. when i got home I realized both large French fries were little more than ½ full. Why order & pay more for large fries if I am still getting a small French fry portion. I don't understand why McDonald's would give me the option to customize French fries for instance in the app there are options for no salt if they are going to give me what they want instead of What I ordered why the hell would McDonald's ask me how I would like something or lead me to believe I had a choice in the first place. My time & money is no more or less valuable than anyone else's but I don't think the employees or owner or manager at this McDonald's would agree with that. I could blame the inept employee that prepared the order but if they were managed by a manger and held accountable for the job in which they are getting paid to do then people wouldn have a reason to return to that location. I will not waste another minute of my time or my money at McDonald's. And if I did I would not visit this location again even though they are ½ mile...
Read moreI went to McDonald’s on Jackson St and ordered a fish sandwich meal with a strawberry shake, asked for extra tarter sauce and an extra thick shake. After waiting in the drive thru forever, I finally got to my food , to discover that not only was my shake not thick at all but it had whipped topping on it, I did not ask for whipped topping so I told the person that I didn’t order a shake with whipped topping and he told me that ALL shakes came with it automatically. I told him I did not like whipped topping in any capacity so I didn’t want it, and he asked me if I wanted him to take the whipped topping off, really…. (Yeah I really want you further breathing over my food to do something that I can do myself, ) so in order to keep the people behind me from having to wait any longer, I just took it and by the time I got home( about 5 minutes away, none of the food was edible. IT WILL BE A LONG LONG TIME BEFORE I GO BACK TO ANY MCDONALDS!!! Whipped cream should not be standard on a milkshake, people should be asked if the want...
