McDonald's — Restaurant in Alexandria

Stood in line inside at 9pmish for 45 minutes to get my order taken. My son is Autistic and ordering at kiosk isn't an option for me as it won't let me add cook to order for large fries as he won't eat them unless fresh. So I had no choice but to wait to order. Drive thru isn't an option either as I tell them cook to order and why and still try to pawn off cold ones or all burnt end ones or soggy ones. So I go inside to register. I will no longer go to south McArthur drive location as register employee complained he was off clock and refused to include cook to order or special request etc. Said he'd tell them. Then waited another 35 min. For the large fry. All I had was large fry and two large drinks. New young kids as a crew I haven't seen before. Good kids I'm sure just refusing to take up front register orders ..off clock...then did anyway complaining to customers. I understand their frustration but go home if off clock as ur shift is done...don't accept to do things after off clock like bag orders I saw this employee doing also before coming to register. And Ice cream machine and shake machine has now showed as out of order for over two weeks now as I always get an ice cream cone for me as I'm on chemo and it calms my stomach...and a shake for my autistic son. Last three times I went for fries I've had to get him a sprite instead and he cries every time. So good luck to that location. Very rude and snotty to me that I wanted a fresh cook to order large fry for my disabled son. Eye roll and attitude tone of...

I had to wait at least 10 minutes to get my basic 10 McNuggets order when I had already ordered on the mobile app. The first contact was asking if I needed to order, and I responded that I ordered through the app. Since that point, my wait was not acknowledged. There were staff horseplaying, throwing things at other staff, shoes in hand and walking around in the kitchen near the food, letting people slide by with free drinks, etc. Also, the bathroom was not clean at all. There was a syringe on the floor and no soap in the dispenser to wash hands. How does the employee wash hands before returning to work? I am glad my son didn't see the drug syringe, but I was disgusted that I had to eat my food basically by just rinsing my hand under water and using a paper towel to feel clean. This is unacceptable McDonald's practice. I feel that the overstaffed late evening employees were making the manager on duty work everything while the rest enjoyed free food, drinks, and hourly pay. The manager (guy with a tie??) needs to be trained to delegate, enforce, and stay on top of customer service. He had the worst uniform to look like a manager. I had to take my food to the car to eat as there was too much unprofessionalism going on in there for the customers to eat peacefully. Even the customer feedback QR Code was disabled to send in...

That night I ordered 2-10 pc nuggets, a 4 pc nuggets happy meal, and a double 1/4 pounder with cheese and was very impressed with the young man who took my order at the register; however, that's the only thing I was impressed with. After that, stood there for 20 minutes waiting for 24 chicken nuggets, 1 cheeseburger, and a basket of fries. I finally got someone behind the counter to acknowledge me and after another 5 minutes they finally asked me if they could help me.

I explained that I was waiting for my order and she looked at the board and apparently did not see my order so she took my receipt and the waiting started all over. After about 10 more minutes, she brings me a bag and when I unpack everyone's food, I'm still missing a 10 pc chicken nugget meal. So back to the counter I go.....5 minutes later...got the nuggets no fries.

Back to the counter one more time and bed she puts the fries in the bag she digs my copy of my receipt out of the trash can...I guess to make sure I wasn't lying....and then hands me the medium fries. There were no rubber gloves and no stop by the sink to wash her hands! No squirt of hand sanitizer, and no apology or thanks for me being patient.

Needless to say I gave my daughter my fries which were probably cold by then but I didn't want anyone eating the fries I had just...
