I have been here about three times since it opened. The atmosphere and decor match one another. It is pretty sterile and industrial. The high top tables have very uncomfortable stools. You can't sit straight without sliding forward. Opt for the low tops if you're planning on being there for a while. The sandwiches are pretty good. I have tried only their espresso drinks. They are pretty good. I never got a chance to try their drip coffee. Customer service policy is to give all drink orders to the barista. When I ordered drip coffee and breakfast on a busy morning, I had to wait on everyone else's espresso drinks to be made first. My food was ready before the actual drink. The staff didn't seem to understand the problem with that and were hostily puzzled at my pointing it out. They don't take cash, only card, which I personally find economically inaccessible and a way to keep certain clientele out. This was very apparent in the demographics of its customer base, whether it was age,...
Read moreLocal to the area, first time here. Nice coffee shop. Right now on a Sunday at 10:17 it's starting to pick up. Upstairs has 8 small tables and a counter along the window. Lighting is cozy, no murals or paintings. Maybe need to add some to feel more quaint? Menu is not on the wall. The menu is posted just outside the door and at the counter. Ordered an Americano with couple pumps of cinnamon. Coffee good but watch your tongue, hotter than normal. Took the cover off to let it cool down. Had an everything bagel with chive cream cheese. They toasted it but cream cheese was on the side in a small container and more than enough to smear. Cost for all was about $6.30 which is more than reasonable. Music is good. I like it here but now learned to come early otherwise small children will be here running around, up and...
Read moreI went with my boyfriend and we got a cherry blossom latte, mango smoothie, and brown sugar pop tart. The cherry blossom latte wasn’t bad, but didn’t taste any different than a normal latte. The mango smoothie was unblended, but somehow tasted like straight water with a hint of mango. It took 10 minutes to be made, and wasn’t even good. There was no apology for the wait. The pop tart was freezing cold, they never gave us an option of warming it up. I asked for the barista’s opinions and they seemed completely uninterested. He just kinda looked at me blankly and barely gave me answers. He wasn’t welcoming or customer service oriented at all. The ambience is nice, with cute/aesthetic decor. It’s a shame this cute coffee shop has bad food and service. It was also extremely expensive given the...
