Kroger's Starbucks Alexandria: on Sunday 17SEPT23 at approximately 1:10pm, I walked into Kroger's, there was an attendant just standing there, not performing any actions...there was a couple off to the right; out of the way....there was on customer, not standing at the counter, but off to the left side, typing on her phone...after surveying the situation, I walked up and ordered. "May I have a Venti Dragon Drink"... the counter attendant replied, "no, she is line", (referring to the unengaged woman, typing on her phone).. I replied, "It doesn't look like she's in line to me..." ....then the attendant stated, "well you can go stand over there, I'm making drinks"...and said it in a derogatory tone. (And she was not making any drinks)
At this point, I took my 11 year old daughter, And walked out... this is not the first, 'less than satisfying experience' I've had at this location...and unless I'm mistaken, from the same employee.
This impression I get is, that this employee is very entitled, and thinks she can treat customers however she likes (probably based off of her own personal views). Well I got news for you, you work at Starbucks...you're importance level isn't at that level ...and with that attitude, and that amount of arrogance, you'll probably always work in the service industry, except; you won't have much of an illustrious career. Some folks whom work in the service industry will go on to higher places within the industry... management & the such... you won't be one of these people.
Starbucks, there's no telling how much money this individual has lost you over the past year....and let me guess, her efficacy isn't that great either? Hmm, let's see; a low-performing employee that is also rude to the customers.... sound like a case for termination to me...
It was like a five year old telling it's parent, I'm not ready to clean my room, you can go stand over there, punk. Really Ms. Starbucks, who do you...
Read moreWas in a rush and on an important phone call and I forgot my mask in the car. The girl went to hand me one which I took from her no problem. Once I got off the phone the way she approached me and spoke to me about putting on the mask was extremely rude. It was by complete accident and simply being in a rush that I forgot my mask in the car. I did not complain about having to take one of theirs or complain about having to put it on but the approach with the situation from the girl behind the counter was terrible. For my first time going into the Starbucks my experience was awful the customer service from her was awful. Then when I asked for a manager she told me she was the manager. Then the main manager walked out and asked what the problem was and handled the situation very nicely. The main manager also explained that this girl was simply a shift manager not the main manager like...
Read moreThis is my least favorite Starbucks in Alexandria after Albertsons and Target. There’s always a long line where only one barista is working. It seems like the baristas are not well-trained either because I’ve always had bad experiences with anybody there. They can only make the more common coffee drinks. When I ask for drinks like the dragon drink, they’d mess up the order.
Once, they let me order and wait for my order for ten minutes just to be told that they don’t have the ingredients to make my drink.
Today, the barista didn’t fill my drink to the top of the cup so I told her. She made the excuse that it’s usually filled with whipped cream. I told her it’s usually filled to the top and the other baristas just used a different lid to have space for the whipped cream. At least she agreed to pour more...
