UPDATE: OCT 28. Best CUSTOMER SERVICE in Cenla. Ask for ALEX for your waiter He's AWESOME! Shout and wave. He's waited on us a few times and is so attentive,polite and you can tell Loves his job! Our steaks are always perfect,only place we go to get steak,bc frankly only place that can cook them as good as my hubby and CONSISTENT Every time! Their green beans taste fresh and homemade bc theyARE and they add bacon and love.House salad has the most salad things of any place around. And rolls, with cinnamon butter and sweet tea...are JUST RT! We eat here regularly and never a complaint.THANK YOU MANAGEMENT ,STAFF AND ALEX You get 10 +++ stars. God Bless all y'all! May 2022 Update : Been back many times,Fab place to order to go food from. Just had my favorite sirloin steak,house salad,and their Awesome green beans! Hubs had same but baked tater instead of salad. We always have amazing wait staff but Today LEANNA...you sat the bar High for any other to bypass You.Lady..you were AMAZING, PERFECT timing,very charming. Excellent service THANK YOU! GOD BLESS YOU on your future in nursing! Oct update* Been back twice since the original post. Still give them 5 STARS ,STEAK delicious each time,great hot rolls , yummy cinnamon butter- addictive! House salad is one of the best side salads in town eggs ,cheese,sweet onion,tomatoes,(I'm sure I forgot something), ranch reduced fat or full fat dressing are both great topping this salad.If you are at a cross roads of what sides to have the green beans are amazing! Either fresh or frozen,(I'm not sure which they are,I'm leaning towards fresh)since they are so fresh tasting, seasoned with BACON and a slight touch of onion I believe. They have a slight lingering smokey taste and fragrance that hangs delightfully in your nostrils,a pleasant reminder of an exceptional dinner enjoyed either alone or with friends!** First visit with Hubby,it's been in awhile since I was here with daughter.Great service steak was "just right" been awhile since I had steak out bc it seemed it was always cooked just a bit past what I liked at other places,but Texas Roadhouse got it Rt. Even the shrimp that was part of the 8oz sirloin compo was as perfectly done as I could do at home.Again I don't normally get shrimp bc it seems places take it past done to over cooked. I love my shrimp nicely just done and not past tender and they did an excellent job! Love their sweet taters with cinnamon and butter it's like dessert as part of the entree. Those rolls,oh my goodness delish with cinnamon butter, yes they do cinnamon right, plus cinnamon is good 4 you! We beat what was a Sat crowd apparently bc we got there apx 1130 ish and as we were leaving it was getting packed,so expected I guess 1 o clock ish rush I reckon. Enjoy life,treat your self or a loved one grab a steak at least now and then.OH the house salad was very good actually had several items on it with house ranch,hit the,greens spot! Hubby had ribeye which he said was very good, I dropped a taste of his green beans side,very yummy,fresh made not canned you could tell bc they were not "tinny" tasting like canned beans are. Enjoy your next trip here,whether visiting or a local,the steak was worth it and actually not bad steak meals for two ppl with flavored teas..( tea was least,favorite thing, strawberry tea tasted more like strawberry syrup only, little to no tea taste,really too sweet), but didn't send back bc I thought the taste might grow on me...it didn't. However all in all,steak meal for 2 with tip and tax under/ around $50.00....

On September 16th around 9pm, my family had one of the scariest dining experiences I’ve ever had here. My 2-year-old sister began choking and then vomiting severely. The server (Kiersten/Kristen, section by the bathrooms) stood just a few feet away at another table, pretending to wipe down a clean surface while staring at the situation unfold. She didn’t alert anyone, didn’t offer help of any kind, and only handed over napkins after I specifically demanded them from her. Even after the emergency was under control, she never once asked if the child was okay or if we needed anything.

Her service was also bad the entire night. She never cleared trash from the table, never checked in to see how we were doing, and kept “forgetting” things we asked for. In one instance, right before my sister started to choke, she was sitting in a booth across from our table “cleaning it” and my brother asked for to go plates, she plastered a fake smile, said “sure” and continued to sit in that booth and never brought the to go plates. When we finally asked for the check, my mom was shorted over $40. The server showed no genuine surprise when my mom caught it, didn’t recount the money to confirm it wasn’t our mistake, and just gave a fake smile with, “oh sorry, be right back.” This did not feel like an honest mistake.

This is also not my first time having this server. On a previous visit her service was careless and inattentive, but this time crossed the line into outright negligence...

1-10-21 Update My son and I visited for lunch. The food was good although my burger wasn’t cooked as requested again. Everything else was good and the waitress was polite and helpful.

—Overall the food and visit was good. Good deals and prices. We had a group of 9 people eating so I cant vouch for everyones food. I had a burger and fries, the fries were good, the burger not so much. I asked for a medium well patty and got an extra well-done patty instead. It was extremely salty as well. My wife had Chicken strips and fries, she says that they were nothing to brag about, they were ok. My 3 kids had the kids mini- cheeseburgers and says that they were good. We have been here to eat several times and typically the food is decent, sometimes we get food that seems to be cooked by an amateur chef. Our waitress was great, very polite and helpful. I can deal with my burger not being cooked properly simply because there are a lot of chefs that do not know how to cook meats correctly or time manage a cook. Overall I give it 👍. Oh.. Turn the music down a couple of clicks. Its hard to have a...
