Worst Starbucks in VA:
I got to Starbucks, and they didn’t have my sandwich ready. I asked them about it, and they ignored me.
I then asked the cashier what was going on, and she told me that it was fine, that they would prepare it soon. So I waited for about ten minutes, but another girl kept taking things out of the oven, and she never took out mine.
So I said, “Excuse me, I’ve been waiting for a while for my food.”
Then some rude woman with an attitude came out and said, “What’s up going on here?”
I told her that my food hadn’t been prepared, that I had been waiting for a long time, and that I had already let them know.
She just responded sarcastically, “Look, the bag is empty because what you ordered isn’t available. You have to take the bag and give it to her.”
I said, “What?? Didn’t you just hear what I told you? I already told them what was missing.”
She repeated that I needed to take the bag and give it to her. And I asked, “Do you want me to do their job for them after they messed up? Do you want me to make my own food too?”
Then the guy who ignored me earlier came out and said, “There’s no reason to be this way. We ran out of the sandwich; I can give you a refund.”
And I told them, “Well, you could have said that when I asked about my sandwich.”
I told him, “You made me wait just to come and tell me this now, after marking the order as ready?”
Then some old white man came out and said, “That’s enough! You are being an asshole.”
And I said, “What the hell is your problem?”
I explained that they had done this to me five times before and that it was always the same nonsense.
That’s when he stepped closer to me, like he was going to do something, so I stepped up to him and said, “You need to mind your own business. You don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Then, I sent messages to corporate, and they gave me a refund.
And I told them that I was never going to buy from Starbucks again.

Read moreI placed an online pick up order otw to work yesterday 10/19 and went inside once my app notified me it was ready. There were two men waiting ahead of me at the pickup table. They were shuffling through drinks trying to find their own orders, unscathed by the woman, Samantha, who was managing the drinks. She was extremely kind to them as they continued searching for their drinks. Those two men left and I proceeded to search for my sandwich and drink. Samantha immediately began “scolding” me that this and that were not my orders. Obviously I know what’s not mine because I know my name. She then flopped my sandwich bag up dismissively….thanks. I was also looking for my drink and once again, she condescendingly tells me mine isn’t there. Fair, if it’s not there then it’s not there. I just did not feel the tone and aggression this employee was speaking to me with was warranted and it was pretty humiliating in front of a store full of other customers. As I waited for my drink at least two other women approached the desk the same way I did; looking through items and not being treated like they weren’t allowed to look for their stuff. I will say I am a lot older than people assume I look and often get treated poorly in my line of work due to generational entitlement by older people and even by people who are my age and don’t realize. So, Idk if this employee just thought I was younger than I actually am and assumed I wasn’t worth the courtesy she gave others or if it was just because all of the other kind interactions I witnessed her having were with fellow Caucasian people. Unfortunately, this is my nearest and most convenient Starbucks and I will have to frequent it. It’s important to be more cognizant of how we treat all people because she could actually be very kind outside of my experience but, if other people have had similar interactions as mine then it could be assumed by many...
Read moreSo I just moved to Alexandria, VA and this is the closest Starbucks. I've ordered here 5 times. When I do order I was getting a Caramel Macchiato, Iced, Venti Upside Down, Salted Caramel Foam with Extra Caramel. Never did the either Coat the cup or put Caramel Drizzle on the foam. Then I switched to the Venti Cherry Chia Latte. I order this with extra crunchies and extra foam light ice. As you can see in the picture,nowhere is the Extra foam. Is that a discretionary decision on what is extra foam. I also order extra crunchies,when I got there, again,there were no crunchies. I asked,usually I don't I fear confrontation due to my Bipolar1 Anxiety.But I asked and the guy at the counter asked the Barista and she flipped around and got the shaker all the while the guy turns toe and says, "Sorry, were on our last one!" SO WHAT, does that mean you decide who gets the crunchies and who doesn't. Ya know, I know it's just foam and crunchies, but if that's how I ordered and that's what I paid for, come on? I find it discouraging that this Starbucks determines what is extra, what goes on a drink and who gets to get it. This store may be a very store, but make the drink how is was ordered. Am I not as important as the other customer that comes in. Cause I'll tell you what,Marc Center, about 3 miles away, treats me with smokes, a welcoming greeting and makes my dream bk EXACTLY how I order it...
