I enjoyed the food in regular CAVA restaurants and was excited to find a new shop opening in my area. However, the digital kitchen setup is a major turn off. Customers are discouraged from human interactions. It took 10 minutes to download the app and order the food inside the sterile empty place, and was told by the app that the food won't be ready for 20 minutes.

The service was confusing at best. I felt like the "waiter" because I was waiting for 15 minutes inside the place until someone called and asked my name, while the food had been sitting on the counter behind the "pick up" shelf.

The order was partially incorrect (missing the drink). There were no paper napkins in the bag. Plus the pita sandwich had the liquid sauce flowing everywhere in a loose paper wrap. Imagine what fun it would have been if I had taken the food to a picnic.
