Dear owner, you need to have a better person for the evening shift.
Last night, I went to have food with two of my friends at 10:00 PM sharp, as it says online that you close at 11:00 PM. We ordered three full platters and wings, though he gave way less rice. I told him we were going to dine in.
The cashier/order taker said the lobby was closed by 10:00 PM. I said if we couldnât eat there, we would just go somewhere else.
He kind of agreed to let us eat because he wanted to sell the food.
We were about to finish our food when a police officer came to the store to buy something.
Your stupid cashier put our lives at risk, started yelling in front of the police officer, saying, âWhy are you guys eating inside? I told you the lobby is closed, and I only gave you 5 minutes.â
This is such pathetic behavior, putting your customers in an unwelcoming situation over just $60 worth of food.
Please update your Google Maps listing to say the lobby...
Read moreItâs been several years since going to a Halal Guys, so when on Duke Street recently and seeing this place, I stopped in for lunch. Service was friendly and âtextbookâ in nature! The place was clean and well-stocked. The food was just âok.â The lettuce wasnât as fresh as it should have been. The other items in my bowl were lacking a robust flavor, including the spicy BBQ chicken, which had a heavy BBQ taste (which was nice) and lots of heat (which was also nice), but that was it and the texture was questionable. The Baba ghanoush was pretty bland and had a nasty texture. The pita slices were wet/wimpy and bland too (they didnât need to be crispy, but they should have been a little stiffer and âdippableâ in structure).
Overall⌠With their basic menu and small amount of options as toppings, I doubt Iâll be back anytime soon â Which is sad, because the concept is great and they could really do so...
Read moreI had the longest day today, I didn't even get a chance to eat until 8:20 pm, single father life. As I was heading home and confused on what to eat, I remembered, there is halal guys location on my way, so I decided to pay them a visit and check them out. As soon as I walked through the doors, I was greeted by Brooklyn. I got the spices chicken platter, as was recommended by Brooklyn. Yes I paid 17 dollars because it's extra for that chicken, but I quickly forgot what I paid as I took my first bite. I managed a restaurant for 12 years in my life and i usually don't give 5 stars unless it was well deserved. For the service and the food here, I wish they had 10 stars, I would give it and will definitely be back again. Thank you for the great experience after this long day. May God bless you and whoever raised you, did an excellent...
