Boochie Bar - Kombucha and Acai cafe — Restaurant in Algoma Township

I felt like I hit the literal jackpot when Boochie opened up. There is nothing like it near Rockford/Sparta and the nearest place isn't convenient to get to at all from "up here". As soon as you open the door, the place feels like a hug. It's warm, inviting, you get a genuine welcome, music, and the overall vibe is so welcoming. The owners are such nice people and I don't think I have been in when they aren't there! They have all sorts of fun stuff around for you to check out while you wait for the goods - the quote / affirmation wall is my favorite. I love Kombucha, so I always get a draft while I'm there - so good and fresh! I swear it has magical powers, too lol. Now, their acai bowls - SO GOOD. They have so many fun ones (like the Rockford Mom), but you can always make your own (which I do most the time). They have smoothies - my husband can attest that they are awesome. They do a banana split that looks too good to be true, too! My kids love the duckies that come on top of the smoothies, such a cute little touch. Their newest additions to the menu are wraps, salads, and SOUP! All homemade and they look divine! They also offer catering, too - so if you want a unique treat to bring in to your meeting or get-together, how fun would that be!? Need to hire more staff for demand. Attempted to walk in to order today and 8+ people were waiting for food already ordered, 2 people were waiting for online/phone orders. I sat at the bar for 15 minutes and did not receive service so unfortunately, I had to leave. The açaí bowls and juices are lovely and I have previously ordered here. Each time it is an untimely wait. I love to support local and 100% recommend their product but only if you have the time to wait. Another person walked in while I was there to pick up a phone order and she said she only had a 30 minute lunch and was now very late to return to work. I let her go before me and I decided to leave as I was unable to wait beyond the 15-20 mins I already had without getting to...

My New Favorite Place! I came in for a Kombucha drink and left after I purchased a refillable growler, had a Gin n Juice Wellness Shot, ate a Açaí Bowl (Booch Please) and drank a Kombucha.
