Coco Joe's Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Algona

Havent been in some time. Last time i was in, the beer prices are way overpriced and the service was okay. Went this past Sunday, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it's Under New Management and the fellow behind the bar was named Theo. Excellent five star service from our bartender constantly making sure we were okay seeing if he could help us with anyting beer prices seem to be more on par now. Had some wings and spinach artichoke dip that both are on the late-night menu and really good deals an amazing food especially for the price. Not only did our bartender go above and beyond and taking care of us, but he also play music for us at our request. Very happy that I decided to go back there and was pleasantly surprised all the way across the board with not only the service but the prices and the atmosphere. I give it a five star rating all the way down the line and now that I know that ownership has changed hands and they're doing it right this time oh, I will definitely be back a lot more and also will suggest to all of my friends and family as well. And absolute amazing time was very impressed with the service and the quality. Co is the man! Tell all...

My friends came here once before for Karaoke and brought me. First I was impressed by the customer service. Our bartender Josh was helping us so fast. He was attentive and great at making recommendations on the menu. I honestly haven't had that good of customer service in a long time.

Two of us got the steak meal that came with a salad and a baked potato/bread that was on special for only $13- can I say Wow. I did not expect that good of food from a dive bar I would definitely order food from them again. Their drinks were also yummy and affordable. They have $2 Jell-O shots that I really don't know how much jello is actually in them

While the bar doesn't get overly packed- it's filled with a lot of fun customers and some with beautiful singing voices. It was a night filled with singing and some dancing. The bar felt safe and even at one point the police dropped by just to check in. However- I felt comfortable in there regardless if they did or not.

I will definitely be coming back and I recommend more people check...
