Ordered through Postmates and they delivered an entirely different order. After I reached out to Postmates, I called Baja and they told me that they had prepared the wrong order: 2 carne asada tacos, 3 fish tacos, fries.
The employee was already confused after I described my order to her and she had mistaken it as an order from Grubhub. She told us they didn’t even start to make our order when it’s already been over an hour. After speaking with her manager, she tells us that they will make it and have it delivered very soon.
Spoke with the employees and the manager multiple times, initially they said they will have our order made and delivered from their end as a resolution, asked for our address and it has been an hour and a half since that last phone call.
We still haven’t been able to eat our lunch because everyone is waiting for the 16 fish tacos, rice and beans we ordered.
Called Baja again and the manager all of a sudden changes her mind telling us that we already got some food (wrong order of 5 tacos- 2 were carne asada.. we don’t eat meat) from them so they cannot deliver it anymore. The manager yelled at us saying that we should complain to our driver and that we should be happy with what we received. The manager was clearly aware that her employee told us that she will have our order delivered, we asked why they would tell us this and make us wait even longer for an order that they never intended on delivering and she replied with “that girl is working now so she can’t deliver this order.” She also told us that order is already made and when we asked if the food was just sitting there, she replied with “actually its not made yet.” .....????
This is absolutely unbelievable and unacceptable, blaming customers for their mistakes, yelling over the phone and wasting hours of our time. We just wanted to have our lunch.
I placed an order around 1:30pm today and it is now past 4pm.
Definitely not the type of business that deserves any support. Will never be ordering from any Baja locations again, especially the one on Main St. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE MANAGER, IRRESPONSIBLE STAFF, THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT WANT TO TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR MISTAKES AND FOR WASTING YOUR TIME.

Read moreLet's start off with the service here at Baja Cali tacos, Everytime I come here I don't have any problems with the service and in fact it's actually very good especially Christine provide excellent service with a smile on her face goes a long way. Second atmosphere is quite narrow when it's busy hours, most the times it's better to wait on that walk way towards the end. Third the quality of the food is awesome I haven't encounter any situation where I have to ask for a refund, it's cook thoroughly and you can choose what you want and don't want on the tacos. Christine is awesome 👍 this is the only Baja Cali I go to for a taco run and the taco Tuesday and Thursday is what kept me going for 3 years straight. My coworker and I walked into this store and literally waited 7 minutes until an employee came to the register. We didn’t get any acknowledgment from the employees walking right by us or no one saying “one minute!” We just got silence. I almost left.
The fried fish tacos are still very tasty.
My friend said it was not worth getting the shrimp burrito because they mostly filled it with beans and rice and barely any shrimp.
