Update: The menu kiosks are here. The lines get blurred. Last time I was there there was one line but the cashier was using two windows. Customers were cutting and going to the second window the cashier was using. I went to ask and they said I was one line. They were super busy so they didn't have time to look out what was going on.
The pizza guys, they're usually guys that hand over the pizza, are still moody. They pretend they can't hear you and they need you to enunciate every one of your words or else they "can't hear you." They can hear you just fine at the other side where you pick up all other food without getting close to them. At the pizza pick up window you're closer to the window so I doesn't make sense to me. Either fix the issue if it's the glass or please train the employees, Costco. It's probably a mix. The employees are probably annoyed by all the human interaction and the ambient sounds.
The one thing I really hate about this particular location is the way they speak to the Asian customers that do not speak English fluently. The employees speak to them louder as if it's an issue in voice volume. And they repeat what they say as if repetition will suddenly translate what they're saying for them. ----older review below---- Usually the only negative is the waiting, esp. for pizza. But the people are friendly and nice.
Today was one of those bad times. I called and ordered the pizza ahead of time. I even paid for it inside. I was told it would take 20 mins. I checked out and got in line to buy churros.
I went to pick up the pizza and it was 27 mins. after I ordered. I was told it was in the oven AND that they would call my name. I stood next to the window. After 11 minutes, I checked again and it was a different worker. I told him I had spoken with someone else. I described the person, but "had no idea" who I was talking about. Also, apparently I was describing several people. He said sorry and quickly said it was going to be 4 minutes. I requested to speak to the person that he was replacing but still he had no knowledge of who was there prior.
I waited, got the pizza and I asked again who it was I had spoken to. He still didn't know so I asked to speak with someone in charge. Javier stepped in. (I really need to start taking down names, I guess.) Javier said sorry but it still didn't seem fair to me that they have to apologize for their co-worker's lack of follow up. I got fed with not being able to speak to the person who said I my name was going to be called. I asked Javier for the corporate number. He didn't have it or know. He offered to walk me over to the store manager but I declined. I had already waited an extra 25 minutes for my pizza when they quoted 20 minutes on the phone.
All I wanted to say that employee is please follow through. If you say you're going to do something, then do it. I would have been fine if he had said, check again in 5 minutes. When you have a weak link in the group, it makes them...

Read moreI have been a Costco member for a long time, I love Costco never had any issue… but today I bought 2 hotdog combo, one slice of cheese and fruit smoothie… employee LAUREN was helping me, I asked for an extra straw as they don’t give the straw with fruit smoothie. I even asked her that’s for the baby. She denied to give me and then I asked her ok as the baby can’t sip can I just return that; then she was like “take the straw but you are rude”, whenever it comes to customer service and you don’t wanna serve that always “RUDE CUSTOMER”. I am also related to customer service industry, so for a silly thing you don’t need to make a big deal. Employee like her make the...
