Jianghu — Restaurant in Alhambra

Tried to check this place out at around 9:30pm on a Friday night and they were charging $40 per person to get in. Given we had a 2:1 ratio of girls to guys. I've never even paid that in dtla let alone residential Alhambra. Our guy asked if he paid if the girls can get in and one of their security guards holding an assult rifle insisted on $40 per person saying oh it's a female dj as if it meant anything. Been in the edm scene for 8 years and never heard of this dj they were speaking of. There wasn't even a line outside and didnt look like anyone was inside either Ended up just leaving as the guy made us feel uncomfortable. Is he trying to intimidate us? Maybe they dont...

I was truly impressed by the exceptional service provided by Hao. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a fantastic experience and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to him for his hard work. The bar itself had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, with a fantastic selection of drinks and snacks. But what really stood out to me was the fantastic live music show they put on. It added an extra level of excitement to my night and made my experience at Jianghu truly unforgettable. 2 Stars for the music and the vibe. I don't recommend this place at all if you are looking for some good cocktails and beers ,as long as your are rich and dumb .when we went there they don't have cocktails and most of the beer is sold out even corona .Also beware of the alcohols were over price . price for half dozen regular beer it's $65. Fruli Strawberry Beer only selling like 3-4 dollars bottle and they selling $20 .
