Starbucks — Restaurant in Alhambra

A week ago I stopped by Target for a few things and also a drink from Starbucks. It was early, the store had just opened but it was starting to get busy. There was about 3 people ahead of me to order and just one girl behind the counter, Patty 😁. Although some people were growing impatient with the wait Patty had her regulars stop by and say hi & cheer her on. It was then I realized Patty was not just another Starbucks barista, she was part of her community. She went above and beyond to know her customers. It was really nice to see this. Patty was so nice and friendly, unfortunately I couldn't leave a $$$ tip because that location is technically owned by Target (bummer!) However, I wanted to just share what a nice experience I had. The people who sell a cup of ice with a fancy name for $5 called me a "SCAMMER". I went there as a business owner to buy $300 worth of gift cards which we send to our customers to say "Thank You". And i do that every couple of weeks, but not any more. The two girls behind the counter cooked up a very new policy that they can only cell 5 gift cards per customer per visit. "There was too much scam going on with their gift cards." I guess they still want the scam to continue but not...

Was there earlier today and told the clerk there were flies pretty big sized gnats inside the food display. There were about 5 flying around and some where on the food. And she stated that "they weren't selling that food." Durr! Ya think??!! I wanted to tell her that it's not appealing, I was going to buy something to eat until I saw the flies in there but she walked away. I'm sure the store manager for that location wouldn't agree with her....
