Alibertos Jr Mexican Food — Restaurant in Aliso Viejo

Middle of the road, bland Mexican food. Inexpensive and right across the street from my house, so I still ate there a couple times a month. Never again, after how the only employee other than the cook that i have ever seen there treated me today.

Huge sign outside "Breakfast burritos $5.99". No small print, no exceptions, doesn't say "special" or anything else other than the time.

Walk inside, menu has a section "Breakfast burritos". Any reasonable person would think the two are the same

I order, and get charged $11.00. I question this, and the guy says "special", and "two different sizes", even though nowhere in eyesight does anything indicate this. Even the picture on the outside is the same as the picture advertising breakfast burritos inside.

So I ask "where does it say that?" And the guy waffles around saying it says "small" (it doesn't). Then he calls back to the cook and tells him to make it small.

I said "no, I want what i paid for, I just want you to show me where it shows that it's two different sizes". Then he starts hand waving and blaming it on the owner. I demand my money back, they can keep the WRONG burritos they ended up making. He refunded my money (in cash when I paid with a card) but failed to refund the tip I gave him.

Deceptive advertising, argumentuve employee, and bad business practices. I already know this place won't last long at this location; nothing ever does, but treating frequent customers this way is a sure-fire way to go out...

I was not able to eat dinner this night, considering the fact that I was sick and cannot go out, so I ordered Uber. I specifically called to ask what comes in their chimichanga and they said beans, rice and cheese. It came with all types of peppers, onions, and tomatoes in the whole chimichanga, which I cannot even eat. They need to make sure they’re giving out the right information or else. People don’t eat dinner under certain circumstances. And who gets to not eat not them me. Ridiculous and typical people are so rushed out and not trained or just not thinking the world‘s too hard these days for...

Ordered delivery from here. They left out 1/4 of the order and 2 of the 3 items we did get were horrible. I ordered a fish taco. There was so much breading I took it all off and found only a sliver of fish inside. Not even an ounce of fish in it. They put it in 3 tacos so they are trying to fill you with breading. I also ordered a beef taco and it is so greasy it has been soaking in napkins for 20 mins and I am not sure I will eat it.
