Went into Wendyâs after work to get food for my family. When we walked in a young girl was standing with her back to us folding bags and applying stickers. She was doing so extremely slowly, folding and perfectly creasing each bag 3-4 times before slowly removing stickers from a roll and putting them on. She was intentionally taking a very long time and was turning and looking at us but never said a word. There were 5 other employees walking and standing around and not one single employee said one word to us. There was another customer that came in right after us that had gone through the drive thru and was given the wrong food. We strod there for about 10 mins then I started calling for a manager. When she came from the back of the store and I told her what happened she said the girl was working on an order. I said the order was already in the bags and she was taking forever to fold and sticker the bags and kept looking back at us but never so much as said hello or Iâll be right with you. Not one word! The manager then said âwe employ teenagers hereâ. I said do you train them?? Do you not explain to them that they need to acknowledge customers, especially when theyâre going to be having them wait several minutes? The little girl then whips the screen around and points to the order that was already bagged before we even walked in as if that was an excuse to ignore us. I said I donât understand what was preventing you from speaking any of the times you turned around and looked at us. The manager continued to be argumentative and make excuses and allowed the employee to do the same. As I was walking out the girl yells âyou donât want your food? Okâ to which I replied I didnât order anything because you wouldnât wait on me remember? And walked...
Read moreI decided to get dinner one Friday night, you know after along week day. Was super excited about not having to cook. Went through the drive through, ordered 2 sandwhich combo meals, 10 piece nugget. The meals come with 2 large fries. They ask what sauces I ask can I get 2 of each please? I thought that would be better and easier for them versus asking them for specific ones that I wanted double of. I have my money and pulled up to get my food. I was greeted by an angry manger, who yelled at me not once but THREE times about how much sauces I got. At first I thought she was being playful and making a silly joke about the sauces and then quickly realized she was actually angry I got 11 SMALL sauces after paying $30.00 for 2 sandwhich that used to cost less and a 10 piece chicken nugget that has doubled. She started yelling at me saying they soon will be charging for them due to people taking advantage of them and I politely told her we use them allâŠnone goes to waste and when they start to charge I will gladly pay. She didnât seem to like that response as I drove away she was still hollering about sauces. As if they came directly from her personal check!!! Feeling sad that this manager just ruined a Friday night treat for me I felt as if I should have turned around and asked for a full refund as she took a simple joy away...
Read moreThis was me and my mother's first visit to this place and the last. The person taking the order had difficulty managing that process. The burgers were actually cold and the meat was still red. The nuggets had weird dark brown spots and tasted like old grease. I've eaten at my local Wendy's for decades I have never had such a disgusting meal before at a Wendy's, we put everything back on the tray took it to the front and demanded our money back. We got our money and left and on Monday morning I called corporate. This place needs to learn serious proper food handling and cooking procedures. We ate at the restaurant how do you get cold and undercooked burgers in 2025. We were so scared being out of town and getting sick from what little we ate. Corporate appears to have taken it seriously but who knows these days. I highly doubt I'll learn if anything's been corrected. Come to think about it I don't think anybody even apologized. Buyer beware at...
