Pizza is always good, everytime we order. We have a pizza night every week! BUT The service was horrible this time. They have rude employees with a big lack of customer service. My husband came in to pick up a pizza and a calzone and the guy at the front desk told him it would be $20. My husband asked him why it was that much with the 2 items we ordered and the employee tried to argue he was going off of what the computer says. Then when he realized the total was wrong they corrected the total but they continued to be inappropriate and rude with comments. We dont even know what we were almost overcharged with. There is no need to get defensive or treat someone like that if this was an accident, but their response make us believe it was done intentionally. I placed a delivery order through the Slice app, hoping to support this business since I already frequent nearby spots like The Rat Pack. I live just 8 minutes away, but the pizza took over 40 minutes to arrive.
When I called to check on the order, the woman who answered the phone had a dismissive attitude. I simply asked if the pizza was on the way, and all she said was, “Yeah,” with no apology or explanation.
I spent nearly $50 on one pizza, and unfortunately, it was not worth it. It was soggy, watery, and lacked any real flavor — definitely not an authentic Chicago-style pizza. I ended up throwing the whole thing away.

We order through grubhub because the pizza website said to order through grubhub , however grubhub told us that the restaurant would be delivering our pizza so we would not be able to track the delivery. We also had the box check on grubhub to include plates and plasticware and requested that our pizza be delivered to our room and left at the door for contactless delivery. Well, the delivery guy called us told us he would not be bring it to us and we would have to meet him in the lobby. My husband asked him about the plasticware and plates he said he didn’t know anything about that and he didn’t have any to give us. Unacceptable. This is a problem that must be fix.
